1. Preparing audit engagement budgets, staff planning, preparation of audit execution plan and execution of the annual audit of a listed and various non-listed entities including statutory financial reporting, reporting to head offices situated outside UAE and quarterly reviews of clients listed on Dubai Stock Exchange (DFM). Clients handled mainly include Dubai Investments Group, Al Shirawi Group, Al Kabeer Group and Emerson Group.
2. Reviewing and assisting in preparation of consolidated financial statements of the listed as well as non-listed Groups.
3. Performing data analytics to provide meaningful insights of the data generated from the accounting systems.
4. Supervising audit engagements and ensuring timely completion and timely delivery of financials and other deliverables to the client. Reviewing the work of associates and assistant staff with reference to auditing standards and audit methodology.
5. Supervising the audit engagements from planning stage till execution and completion stage.
Nature of Work:
1. Statutory Audit for various clients mainly KONE (elevators & escalators), Otis (elevators & escalators), Alstom (power), Conmix (construction materials).
2. Review of various reconciliations like accounts receivable, accounts payable, banks etc.
3. Review of income tax provision made by the management in accordance with DZIT (Department of Zakat and Income Tax) regulations.
4. Review of financial statements prepared by local companies which include verification of monthly reporting done by those companies to their Group Companies abroad and ensuring compliance with group policies and group accounting manual by the local companies.
5. Understanding & validating the internal controls of various clients.
6. Handled team of juniors to complete the audit assignments within the given time frame and review of their work.
Nature of Work:
1. Statutory Audit for various Listed as well as non-listed clients. Clients handled include Tata Autocomp Systems Limited,
and Honeywell group entities, GKN Stromag.
2. Tax Audit of various listed as well as non-listed Clients as required as per Sec.44AB of Income Tax Act, 1961.
3. Group Reporting for various listed as well as non-listed clients which includes verification of monthly reporting done by
client to their Group Companies abroad.
4. Limited Review of various clients as required by Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement.
5. Understanding & validating the internal controls of various Listed as well as non-listed Clients
Nature of Work: Internal Audit, Compliance, Treasury
Income Tax Audits (NBFC, Plastic Manufacturing Co., Individual Traders including traders in Equities and
Mutual Funds, Music Channels, LLP)
(ii) Internal Audits (Listed Civil Construction Company, TV Channel)
(iii) Project Finance (Preparation of CMA Data including that for Cash Credit/Over Draft renewals)
(iv) Filing Statutory Returns (Income Tax, Wealth Tax, Service Tax, TDS Returns)
(v) Filing Various Returns with ROC (Annual Returns, Company Formation, Change of Particulars, Directors
Appointment and Retirement etc.)
(vi) Preparing for Appearance before Income Tax Authorities (including Search cases).
(vii) Drafting various Deeds and Affidavits, Reply Letters to Taxation Authorities.
