I worked as a customer service agent, teller and credit analyst at Cooperative bank of Kenya where my duties
were:
As a customer service agent I was responsible for supervising daily operations of the
customer service department by analyzing clientele feedback both positive and negative
on new products in several departments inclusive of the branches administration as well,
ideas and execute amendments proposed for purposes of a seamless customer service
delivery.
Ensure growth of clientele base in the sacco in terms of on boarding new clients via
marketing strategies and sensitizing existing clients on the organizations' new products
and offers.
I also ensured service delivery by my team members was in line with both service level
agreement (SLA) and Turn Around time (TAT) policies of the company by mentoring
and training them.
Day to day handling of cash management activities as a teller which included executing
financial transactions i.e deposits and loan payments through sacco clerical functions.
Maintain the organisations’ and customer data through liaising with the several business
units in an appropriate format for future accountability purposes.
During my period as a credit analyst I was responsible for managing credit risks through
analysis; financial report writing, coming up with credit models and policies
in accordance with the regulator (CBK) and factors affecting market trend in the lending
sector which will ensure mitigation of non-performing loans.
I scored a second class honors.
