** Reporting to: Direct reporting to Hong Kong, Canada & USA Merchandising & Sourcing Directors.
** Monitoring: Entire Merchandising & Production progress KPI for sample, production, quality and shipment.
** Sourcing & Development: Source & develop Vendor/Garment Factory, Fabric, Accessories & Trims (Local & Imported) as per company’s business Policy. Realize samples to be sent to buyers and maintain the required database as well as Coordinate with the design team & other departments during development of a new collection planning, product selection, identifying product and category opportunities, identifying and driving product and range adaptations suitable for the US and Canada Market.
** Product & Sample Development: Customer’s Required Sample Development from different Vendor’s with required Trims. Handle all new products development with sourcing and preparing competitive Techno/Commercial Offer, ensuring proper implementation of export contacts and attainment of satisfactory services of buyer and customers.
** Price Negotiation: Negotiate Price with Different Garment Manufacturer and Accessories Supplier. Order budgeting for new orders & review on completion, pricing, collections, store operations, Visual merchandising, Decision making & co ordination with procuring fabrics & accessories from both local & foreign sources and work out the exact costing for the samples and orders at the centre for new orders list out the price comparison report along with the worked out best costs.
** Order Placement: PO receiving, Placing Order & Opening L/C/T/T as Per Confirmed Price & Sample on behalf of Customer. Finalize & coordinate with the buyer, model, quality, logistic and import department regarding samples, feedback, orders & shipments.
** T&A: Updating day to day basis (Approval’s & Sending Details). Solve textile Critical Path & Technical problem jointly with QCM as overlooking of basic yarn, fabric, colour, washing standards, shade matching, accessories, approving top samples.
** Approval: day to day sending all required Fabric, Sample & Accessories and arrange to get Approval’s.
** Pre-Production Training: Organized a training module that increased production, sampling accuracy and efficiency for smooth execution.
** Production, Wash & Quality Control: Monitor production analyzing approval process, procurement, capacity planning and coordinate with buyer, vendor, logistics which ascend on time delivery. As well as Good knowledge on production, floor management, line layout, line balancing, productivity calculation, time management to achieve production target & quality. Competent on LABTEST, Quality controlling audit i.e. Fabric inspection, sample evaluation, Initial production checking, Inline inspection and Final Inspection.
** Inspection: Competent on Quality controlling audit i.e. Fabric inspection, sample evaluation, Initial production checking, Inline inspection and Final Inspection.
** Shipping: Good commercial knowledge to check with all export and local documents.
** Compliance Auditing: Auditing of US and Canada Company’s standard operation procedure and product safety procedure to get effective quality production and shipment with time study of the garment and to make production planning by allocating the machines and their attachments and calculate the Batch and Operator Performance to ship final goods on time.
** Factory Visit: Every day Factory or Factory office visiting for actual state of affairs (9-11 Factory’s follow up, guidance of 5-6 team members).
** Business Development: through procurement of Export Order also repeat Orders by Product Exposition to Prospective Buyers.
- Direct Reporting to the Country Manager, Regional Merchandise Manager in Hong Kong and India.
- Coordination of merchandising activities within the country.
- Price negotiation with the factories, supplier and also with the customers & timing within set parameter.
- Ensuring output within the time cycle.
- Maintaining effective communication with customers and suppliers.
- Outsourcing; strategic planning for advanced merchandising.
- Order Placement: PC5, PC9, Volume Allocations, review capacity and discussion with Vendors.
- The Seasonal Overview with Product developer.
- Fine Tuning of Sampling and Bulk capacity based on the seasonal requirement.
- Risk analysis post line build samples, review lead times (Fabric/Trim/Production) Costs.
- Commercial and Cial Sample: review at Factory, Sealer Sample: Follow-up.
- Risk analysis: post Commercial sample is mainly to close loops discussed during Line Build Samples.
- Production Plan: to be review against Lead time capacity.
- PSR: Production Status report creation and share with worldwide Planners.
- OA: Outline Agreement creation and maintenance.
- Sundry Grid: Final follow-up, Ordering,
- Development Test: Close follow-up with Product Developer and Product Integrity department.
- MRP Retail Price: Where ever applicable, Affiliate wise MSRP Collection and goods deliver accordingly.
- Price: Negotiate on receipt of Pre-Production and uploading READY FOR QUOTATION-RFQ.
- Production Tracking and Monitoring: Fabric booking,
- PO: Monitoring and on time PO issuance, Ship mode checking, Chasing for pending PO, Informing worldwide affiliate about any impact to delivery on time due to delayed PO Issuance or any request for PO cancellations due to MOQ-Minimum Order Quantity not being meet.
- TEST: Fabric Testing, special focus on China test requirement,
- Planned Ex Factory date: update in the SAP, checking every Friday.
- On Time Delivery and Lead-time Template: updating.
- Weekly Production Reports: Updating and distributing to worldwide Planner APD/LAS/LSE.
- Share POINT: Updating each Monday & Thursday.
- Audit: Check each week Audit request details and updating on PSR Audit Plan.
- TRADE CARTS: Updating for Final Garment Payments.
- Vendor Performance Update: bio-monthly update 1st & 3rd Monday and Vendor Score card: Monthly update.
- Liability: Vendor/Miller/Suppliers Sample and Bulk liability update to Brand.
- Vendor relationship: Maintain Vendor & Supplier relationship.
- Email: On time response and Factory Visit: Twice a week if required.
- Vendor training: for SAP, CARTS, CITRIX, SUPPLIER WEB, BOARDWALK, DAVINCI, BOM, GPPTL, PO, TF Download and Others.

Merchandising and Operational System:
