Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures. Developing measures to assure personnel safety. Correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority. Exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action is required. Maintains awareness of active and developing situations. Ensures there are safety messages in each Incident Action Plan. Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work-plan. Review the Incident Action Plan for safety implications. Investigate accidents that have occurred within incident areas. Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures. Respond to employees about their safety concerns
Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment. Conducts toolbox meetings. Part of the project safety council and leads all efforts to enhance safety. Reviews and approves all subcontractors’ safety plans. Verifies that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to related government agencies. Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use. Promotes safe practices at the job site. Enforces safety guidelines. Color Coding of the Hand Tools. Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations. Conducts investigations of near-misses. Inspect the Equipment’s on periodically. Plans and specifications for new machinery & equipment to make sure they meet safety requirements.
Reports to concerned authorities as requested or mandated by regulations. Conducts job hazard analysis. Establishes safety standards and policies as needed. Watches out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations. Responds to employees’ safety concerns. Coordinates registration and removal of hazardous waste. Serves as the link between state and local agencies and contractors. Receives reports from and respond to orders issued by Department of Labor. Arranges for OSHA mandated testing and evaluations of the workplace by external agencies/consultants. Support the development of OHS policies.Provide the proper signage’s on the site in authorized area.Check and balance in the daily basics of the house keeping issues.
Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery .Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures. Review existing policies and measures and update according to HSE rules. Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives. Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc. Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management. Carry out PTW Monitoring and review.
Making daily reports regarding unsafe procedures at the job site. Support Company Safety, Environment and health policies and programs. Provides technical and professional Advise. Provide the proper signage’s in the designated areas. Check & Balance in daily basics the Housekeeping. Provide the free Access areas at the site as per required. Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly inspection and monitor. Housekeeping & other environmental Safety Safe work methods on height work and fall protection. Record the daily basics the site development and report it. Inspection of all electrical and mechanical equipment’s.
