Description: Managed and maintained the procurement process for the procurement of goods and services from the suppliers.
• Negotiate efficient contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with the organization’s purchasing policies and procedures.
• Handling shipping terms like CIF, EX-WORKS, DDP, FOB.
• Ensured the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
• Research the market for the best pricing and quality of the goods and services.
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as new product development, demand planning and forecasting.
• Making purchase orders in ERP, ORION, SAP scheduling materials, receiving.
• Reviewed and monitored supplier performance on a regular basis.
• Complete the timely checking, verification, and authorization of supplier invoices.
• Assist accounting department with all purchasing related invoicing issues correcting problems and contacting suppliers as necessary for resolution.
• Follow up with the supplier for the shipments and ensure the shipments are cleared from the supplier to warehouse and reduce the lead time.
