• Planning, scheduling, supervising & execution of routine maintenance, preventive maintenance and overhauls of power plant equipment, such as Steam boiler, steam air heater, Gas recirculation fan, furnace oil unloading plant, burners, steam conversion plant, different heavy duty pumps and valves and different purifier.
• Planning of spares, tools/tackles, specific consumables and other necessary materials.
• Planning for hiring contract manpower.
• Planning and maintaining the inventory of different critical equipment.
• Preparing technical specification of different equipment for tender publication.
• Preparing comparative statement for evaluation of different supplier participated in tender as far as technicality and cost benefit are concerned.
• Assist maintenance personnel in repetitive failure analysis and analysis of other major defects and suggest suitable recommendations.

• Participated in the chemical cleaning of 680 ton/hr steam boiler of Unit#1 & 2 associated with Black & vetch International, Marubeni and Halliburton. The job included the internal chemical cleaning of steam drum, water walls, down comers and economizer.
• Participated in the installation of Debris Filter at the condenser inlet to prevent the condenser tubes from choking associated with Marubeni Power Development.
• Participated in complete dismantling of Steam Coil Air Heater coils due to increase in differential pressure (choking) and assembling after high pressure washing.
• Periodical maintenance and overhauling of pneumatic and manual diaphragm valves, centrifugal pumps and lobe type blower of water treatment plant.
• Overhauling and periodical maintenance of Main Cooling water pumps.
• Installation of Gas burners in order to convert boiler from HFO to natural gas.
• Periodical maintenance of diamond type rack soot blowers.
• Periodical maintenance of vertical condensate extraction pumps.
• Overhauling and periodical maintenance of vertical type sump pumps.
• Tube leakage detection and plugging in the condenser and Auxiliary coolers.
• Servicing and repairing of different type of valves.
• Being incharge of workshop supervised various jobs in machine shop and welding shop.
• Periodical maintenance of Boiler and its auxiliaries mainly Forced Draught Fan, Regenerative Air Heater, Burners, water treatment plant auxiliaries and other auxiliaries.
• Periodical maintenance and troubleshooting of Ishikawajima-Harima-JOY WN 112F air compressor which has the capacity of 710 cubic meter/hour and discharge pressure of 10.5 bar.
• Periodical maintenance and trouble shooting of 1.7 MW Diesel Engine Generator which is used in total shut down.
• Static, couple and dynamic balancing of different parts of rotary equipments with the help of VIBROPORT 30.
