Master startup of ISOM unit
Pannel operator at ISOM (LHT ISOM) unit
• Splitter section
• Fractionation tower with 68 sieve trays is splitting
• To separate the C5 and C6 from FBRN
• Hydro treating section
• Product received after reaction introduced to
unwanted sulfur and metals are removed in this section in the presence of CoMo catalyst.
PENEX SECTION:
• Penex section ( pentane extraction)
• Saturation of benzene and Isomerization of N-pentane and C6
• To increase the RON of LSRN

 FEED driers/Makeup gas drier:

• TO remove water in the feedstock down to the lowest limit of detect ability ( < 0.1 PPM)
• Design handling of feed stock is 300wPPM H2O.
• DRCS (drier regeneration and control system)
• Automatic control system use for regeneration system( UOP Honey well control system)

 FSD(feed surge drum):
• To maintain the constant composition of the feed

Main product of the unit is propylene. Capacity of the unit is50 ton/hr.
Main portions of the plant are oleflex reactors, CCR continuous catalyst regenerator (680 kg/hr circulation of catalyst).

CCR (CONTINIOUS CATALYST REGENERATION)
680kg/hr circulation rate with 100%
Removal of coke from catalyst produced during Dehydrogenation reaction in Reactors.
Vent gas treatment
Feed Treatment Section.
Two Feed Guard Beds to remove mercury and nitrogen from propane feed.
Two Feed Driers with online analyzer to remove water, having provision to regenerate both driers.
Fractionation section
De ethanizer, De ethanizer Rectifier and

Produced during reaction to change propane to

REFRIGERATION UNIT is the part of this section to
separate propylene/propane from methane/ethane by
giving negative temperature.

Fractionation tower with 205 sieve trays is splitting
Propylene from propane. Heat pump compressor
(centrifugal type) is used to give re boiling vapors Back to the tower.
SHP REACTOR SECTION
Selective Hydrogenation process with H2 COMPRESSOR
To convert methyl acetylene and prop dine into propylene.
H2S Removal section(NaHS)
Absorption unit with two absorbers to remove H2S from process off gas
