Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim limited produces Ammonia, Urea and DAP. It has its own utilities unit for compressed air, power and steam generation.

Key activities are
•Reviewed technical proposals and communicated technical requirements with vendors during the FEED phase of project.
•Reviewed and approved control system layouts, and schematic diagrams proposed by the vendors in conformity with the contractual technical specifications and applicable standards.
•Supervised installation of control system during EPC phase, its commissioning and start-up.
•Reviewed and approved vendor provided P&IDs and loop sheets.

Maintenance
•Calibration, connection, loop checking and startup of instrument and control systems such as ABB Bailey infi-90 DCS, Mark V and boiler control system etc.
•Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of process and diagnostic alarms of GE Speedtronic Mark V.
•Plans, schedules and allocates maintenance daily jobs to supervisors and technicians.
•Plans and executes change requests related to DCS system.
•Responds to emergency repairs request and provides services to troubleshoot equipment tripping and instrument failures.

Turnaround
•Coordinates and ensures that all turnaround activities and work orders are implemented in an effective manner and in compliance with safety practices and procedures.
•Prepares annual budget and report the same to higher management for approval.

Planning
•Assists material coordinator to maintain the inventory of spares.
