• Research industries and markets to identify growth opportunities for clients.
• Use Qualitative Research and Quantitative Research (primary and secondary research) to support client branding projects and Strategic planning.
• Use CATI and CAWI methods of research.
• Responsible for gathering and researching interest rate information for financial institutions. (Deposit Rates).
• Make calls to different banks, financial institutions and credit unions in America to get the current interest rates for the deposit products. (It includes Certificate of deposit, Checking account, Saving account, Money Market, Individual retirement account and business accounts).
• Update all necessary call sheets. (i.e., phone numbers, websites, notes and contact information)
• Check websites of various banks, financial institutions and credit unions for the latest promotions and get a notion about how they are marketing the product.
• Review different American Newspapers and look for the banks, financial institutions and credit unions which are advertising their product on newspapers.
• Review and audit worksheets carefully, accurately, and on schedule/time.
• Assures all call-sheets, faxes, e-mails, and web sites are filed away by the end of the day.
• Keep custom reports up-to-date regarding institution changes, product introductions, product deletions, and new research.
• Electronically clips newspaper ads daily and in a timely manner.
• Assist other departments when necessary on special projects.
• Determine and calculate the risk of offering a mortgage loan to a borrower under certain guidelines and approve or deny a loan based on thorough research.
• Check and review Credit Reports from Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
• Check and review Appraisals and Title Commitments.
• Check fraud and OFAC alerts in the credit report.
• Check Borrowers Income documents, W2’s, Paystubs and validate the employment of the borrower.
• Run DU/LP to determine the eligibility.
• Underwriting mortgage loans.
• Keep track of the latest updates regarding the Fannie Mae selling guide.
• Verify if the property is in flood zone by reviewing the Flood CERT and FEMA report.
• Submit the loan to initial review team if any further documents are required.
• Resolve borrowers concern regarding the mortgage loan by doing a thorough research.
• Check and review Credit Reports from Equifax, Experian and TransUnion to address the derogatory reporting concerns.
• Respond via email, mail fax or call.
• Send payment histories to borrower’s attention.
• Help homeowners to get their queries resolved and offer hardship alternatives in case of default.
• Check the quality of the responses written by writers and make necessary corrections if required.
• To make sure that all the concerns of the borrowers are addressed.
• Share the latest updates with the team.
• Resolve issues like bankruptcy, modification, payoff, foreclosure and authorization.
