 Upgrading Avamar and Data domain.
 Performing restore tests of data from cloned copy.
 Performing audit on clients for their configuration and restoration.
 Checking file system usage of the servers and the storage nodes and NMC server.
 Adding new Avamar, and Data domain systems to Backup and Recovery manager for monitoring.
 Ensuring proper health of all the Avamar Grids, Data domains, Networker servers and storage nodes.
 Ensuring that replication, checkpoints, HFS check and Garbage collection are running properly.
 Ensuring services are running for the Data Protection Advisor (DPA) server which hosts the DPA reporting tool.
 Implementation of Reports using third party tools like EMC DPA.
 Generating reports from DPA for monitoring backup failure and calculating the total size of data backed up for all the clients.
 Working on the backup failure tickets escalated by L1 team and other escalated tickets.
 Training and mentoring L1 team. VMware Administration:
o Good at all VMware product design, configuration, administration and maintenance.
