SAP B1 EXPERIENCE/ PROJECTS
Major responsibilities and activities are summarized below:
* Performing HANA, SQL and SAP B1 installations
* Conducting Requirement Gathering sessions: gathering client’s functional requirements and
business processes to analyze and map them to SAP B1 functionalities and modules.
* Following up with the client to collect all relevant data for implementation
* Initializing and configuring production system as per blueprint: Implementing and customizing
SAP B1 to match the clients’ requirements and provided documents (Database Initialization,
Customization, Data Migration and Creation of required Crystal reports/layouts)
* Importing Master Data to SAP B1 Database
* Managing SAP B1 Database configuration changes & installing licenses
* Managing resolution of issues and changes with customer & aiding in business processes’
validation and testing
* Testing and troubleshooting SAP B1 processes and Add-ons and making sure they are aligned
with the client business processes before users’ acceptance testing
* Conducting SAP B1 end user training: training client end-users and supporting them until they
are comfortable and satisfied with the results
* Conducting User Acceptance Testing UAT (before Go-Live)
* Ensuring the system is delivered successfully and preparing necessary project documentations
such as manuals, test cases, issue logs and respective resolution.
* Supporting and working with SAP B1 team on projects across the MENA region.
* Mastering Ivend Retail Solution & integration with SAP B1:
o Installations of Ivend Retail software in HO server, store servers & POSes
o Setting up & initializing Ivend retail from SAP Business One
o Configuring Ivend Services in HO and stores (Integration, Replication, Connection)
o Enterprise, store, and POS setup
o Training end users and administrators on Ivend Retail (Management Console & POS)
o Initiating Go-Live/Opening in ivend & SAP B1
