o Oman Broadband Company (OBC) FTTx Project (August 2018-September 2018)
Designing and delivering FTTx Networks using ArcGIS and Ericsson Network Engineer (ENE) based on demand points in well-populated areas in Oman. The project includes the following responsibilities:
1. Analysis on areas depending on the demand points present.
2. Analysis on the existing civil network and whether it needs to propose new civil or not.
3. Ensuring that the existing civil network is utilized as much as possible.
4. Design a Fiber network that includes placing Fiber Distribution Hubs (FDHs), Network Access Points (NAPs), and distribution cables based on previous studies and statistics.
5. Generate schematics for the designed areas that includes the design’s details for better viewing.
o STC Network Fitting Project (October 2018-Present)
- Reshaping and correcting the infrastructure for copper and fiber networks in multiple areas in Saudi Arabia on ArcGIS software which includes the following responsibilities:
1. Network re-alignment for day to day landbase and civil changes.
2. Deal with civil data and network elements overlapping with parcels and buildings.
3. Exporting the needed data to perform the fitting and re-alignment processes for selected districts and exchanges.
4. Quality check on fitted exchanges and districts to ensure that work is correct and ready to be delivered.
5. Importing the data on STC servers from our office in Amman.
1. Understanding the main concepts of cellular technologies and how to optimize the cellular coverage as much as possible on all technologies including 2G/3G/4G.
2. Attending and knowing more about drive tests with post analysis on the data recorded during the trip.
3. Attending field visits to check on cellular equipment for auditing purposes.
