Leading EHS planning by forecasting and setting the Annual and Strategic plan and evolving action plans to achieve these targets.
Sustaining and improving safety change program which reduced our recordable injures from five in 2010 to one year to date in 2012 and sustaining a zero LTI record since 5 years by:
•Implementing, motivating and training employees to online near miss and safety stop dialog reporting system that resulted of increasing number of near misses and safety stop dialogs reported and a higher response of investigating and implementing corrective and preventive actions
•Conducting a wide range of EHS training resulting from risk assessment review and also conducting refresher sessions for EHS KPI’s and our effect on the environment
•Maintaining environmental measurement program in line with legal regulation
•Monitoring EHS KPI’s and investigating fluctuations and deviations from planed targets
•Implementing and conducting EHS task teams, ex. Accident investigation, stop dialog, waste management, forklift safety and risk assessment teams.
Supervising relocation of the factory, conducting risk assessment and making sure all controls are in place resulting in zero accident for the 2 months period
Changing the mind set of new 12 employees operating a new process in the factory by heavy training and close supervision resulted in a minor single injury since staring operation in 2011
Conducting and organizing monthly EHS meetings discussing EHS issues from FA cases, near miss reports and improvement programs and following Risk assessment action plan and last month minutes of meeting
Building new factory OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 combined system to sustaining our certification.
Conducting internal audits in line with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
Making action plans and following to make sure all new JTI standards are implemented and in place resulting in implementation of Machine guarding new standards project

SPARE PARTS ENGINEER at JAPAN TOBACCO INTERNATIONAL(JTI JORDAN)

Leading Spare parts planning by forecasting and setting the Annual and Strategic plan and evolving an action plan to achieve these targets
Reviewing and studying MIN and MAX parts stock to minimize and reduce stock level and improving the local resource plan to add new suppliers in which achieved the stock level for the first time in the factory and resulted in a total of 70, 000$ in savings.
Working with external supplier to improve delivery time of normal and urgent shipment resulting in reducing our safety stock from 6 months to 3 months which impacted our monthly stock level and reducing the urgent parts delivery from 1.5 weeks to two days
EHS support and projects:
•Supervise and manage Risk Assessment task team reviewing factory risk assessment and making risk assessment for machine insulation, maintenance and construction projects resulting in hazardous waste controls in line with legal regulation, zero LTI and zero recordable injury.
•Taken a part in contractor management task team resulting in supervising contractors, giving training and issuing a contractor guideline in which reduced our incidents from five to incident in the first year.
•Assisting EHS department in preparation to ERMcv’s OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001Global certification for six months in which resulted in getting the certification from the first time with only observations a which made Jordan factory the only one to get it from the first time
•Conducting a wide range of EHS training to employees from Logout/Tagout, safe use of tools, fire safety, forklift safety, waste and hazardous waste, etc
•Take over EHS department activities in EHS engineer absences
