Responsibilities
•Direct reports to Division Head and assist in strategic matters related to desktop and branch support department.
•Ensure effective IT services in all the Offices and in the branches of the bank across Pakistan.

Responsibilities
• As Head of IT Infrastructure and Data Centers took care of all the related matters within the department and managed all the external Vendors like IBM, HP etc. and ensuring the smooth operation of Data Centers.
• Project Manager for Bank’s new Core Banking HW Deployment i.e. IBM Power 780+ and DS8870 with Flex Systems in the production and backup Data Centers.
• Planned and executed the project with IBM regarding HW sizing and it’s in time deployment with the close coordination with different stake holders.
• Responsible and ensures switchover (planned) & failover / failback (unplanned) & start/stopped all HP-UX, Storage CA & FalconStor related services in given RPO / RTO (15mins).
• System Administration of IBM AIX, HP-UX, Red-hat Linux, Microsoft Windows & SAN (EVA, DS8K) OS.
• Installation and maintenance HP-Blade C-7000 enclosure for HP blade XEON and Itanium Servers.
• Also administering HP Data Protector, HP System Insight Manager, HP Command view including Continues Access & Business Copy.
• Managing smooth execution of DC Migrations activities within Lahore and between Karachi & Lahore.
• Ensure the Continues replication of T24 data between all three sites in terms of Synchronization & A-synchronization mode.
