Implementing the MEAL Plan and systems including the data collection and
reporting systems according to project performance indicators and targets and to
King Hussein Foundation mandated standards (such as Theory of Change).
- Ensuring data quality according to donor’s data quality criteria throughout the data
management process from collection to reporting.
- Providing technical assistance to IFH sta and partners on managing and/or
undertaking evaluation, impact assessments, and surveys - including survey
design, sampling approach, questionnaire design, eld testing, data entry forms,
data analysis, and dissemination of key learning for improvement in future
program design.
- Contributing to quarterly/annual progress and impact reporting in line with
performance indicator targets and desired project outputs and outcomes.
- Establishing eective knowledge management mechanisms including
documentation of baselines, outcomes/impacts.
- Preparing concept notes, proposals, and status updates for the MEAL and project
managers.
- Compiling inputs from all technical team leaders for quarterly and annual reports
and submit a draft report to the Head of MEAL department for review.
- Ensuring the completion of all MEAL activities across project results and promote
learning by all sta, stakeholders and partners.
- Contributing to the internal evaluation and other technical surveys or evaluations
to learn IFH’s outcomes and impact and answer the learning questions.
- Transferring of nal project deliverables, reports and datasets into the required IFH
and Donors platforms.
- Assisting Project Managers in providing support to project evaluations and
consultancies.
- Providing MEAL trainings for IFH sta, case managers, mentor coordinators and
volunteers.

- Determining the data elements that are required internally and externally to
support the health sector/cluster coordination and decision-making, designing
standardized methods of capturing and consolidating evidence-based health
interventions, and documenting lessons learned, best practices, and trend analyses
for promoting accountability, responsiveness, and transparency.

• Works to measure and determine the extent to which SES II interventions have impacts on quality of and access to essential services within Syria.
• Authors research and analysis reports related to evidence building and approaches linked to strengthened service delivery.
• Provides technical oversight of design, implementation and dissemination of all research and evaluation activities carried out under SES II.
• Documents progress made toward building LC/CSO capacity to deliver quality essential services.
• Coordinates collaboration for development, deployment, and implementation of appropriate tools necessary to improve SES II systems and their use for decision-making.
• Works with external stakeholders, other implementing partners, international donor monitoring and evaluation specialists, and USAID to share research findings both internally and externally.
• Ensures robust and innovative dissemination of research and evaluation activity results as part of SES II management portfolio;
• Provides in-depth insights into facilitating as well as limiting factors to increased impact at each level of service delivery.
• Develop and manage M&E system/tools to effectively capture and report on all project deliverables.
• Assist in the design of data collection, reporting tools, and questionnaires
Devise and put in place, with assistance from the Coordinator, additional methods for verifying program activities - by visits, spot checks, follow-up with beneficiaries, pictures etc.
• Deliver M&E training and technical assistance to staff and volunteers to ensure the quality of their reporting.
• Work closely with key technical and program staff to ensure that all activities and outputs are linked to objectives as indicated in the proposals and projects.
• Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and periodic reports and contribute to proposal development.
• Support all components with developing and improving daily reports and other required tracking tools for effective reporting and M&E.
• Manage the timely and regular development of program success stories
Supervision, guidance, and mentorship of M&E focal points in all components.
• Any other task as assigned by the direct supervisor or country program management.
1.Support the M&E Director in the development of monitoring plans, baseline surveys, and other tools when needed.

4.Carry out data quality assessments (DQA) to ensure M&E data is accurate and up to date.
5.Provide support to local NGO partners and local partners in best practices in M&E techniques.
6.Assist with data entry and work with relevant project staff members to ensure appropriate data is entered into relevant M&E and project management systems. Conduct site visits and prepare site visit reports to confirm status of activities.
7.Develop an effective track of data within the tracking systems and maintain updated documentation in the Project Files.
8.Other tasks as assigned consistent with the above scope of work by the Supervisor.
