General Management
• Develop creative and innovative procurement processes .
• Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate
risks and develop opportunities
• Ensure purchasing policy, guidelines and any associated documents are in
place and updated when required

• Manage relationships with suppliers and select and develop new suppliers
• Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for
money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input
from stakeholders and colleagues
• Review and negotiate existing agreements to optimize commercial terms
• Assess tenders from potential suppliers
• Ensure professional and consistent supplier management is applied across the
supply base in line with the purchasing policy
• Ensure products are sourced according to customer requirements.
• People Management
• Manage, coach and develop high performing purchasing and cost estimating
team.
• Set departmental objectives
• Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required.
Facilitating smooth execution of Procurement activities:
• Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and
oversea vendors
• Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical
and commercial specifications required for the project
• Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms &
Conditions
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and
following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
• Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality Standard’s, delivery time &
best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational
requirements and expectation
• Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high
delivery and short lead time requirement’s .
• Providing support to Sales Team for timely & accurate:
• Delivery of orders by providing accurate information on inventory
Accomplishments:
• Successfully handled high value projects such as:
Al-Muajjiz Terminal Project; Yanbu Project; Zirku Island Project
Samsung Project; Gambat Project, Ministry of water supply Kuwait
