• Provide translation and further explanation, history and background for local current issues.
• Compose complex correspondence to different governmental entities, Draft and formats routine responses to inquiries, including cables, letters, memos, reports, and tables using established procedures, instructions, or relevant manuals.
• Perform administrative tasks such as: correspondence with Government of Jordan entities, coordinate events and VIP visits, submit and coordinate procurement requests, and arrange travel requirements for staff.
• Represent the Executive Office (EXO) in the Foreign Service National FSN Committee.
• Plan and manage team goals based on MoM, project schedules, Donors and IP’s lists and coordinate the information when required.
• Maintain schedules and plan for conferences, meetings and visitors’ schedules as requested.
• Support control officer on all aspects of scheduling, briefing materials production, and managing visit logistics, in coordination with Mission front office and other staff. Follow up with office staff to ensure that follow-up actions as agreed at conferences and meetings are met.
• Submit and coordinate Procurement Requests.
• Submit GLAAS requests for Budgeting purposes and work closely with the Legal & Contracting Teams on proper documentation, calculations, amendments and approvals for submission in addition to the required follow up. This task includes keeping an updated list on projects cash status.
• Maintain schedules and plan for conferences, meetings and visitors’ schedules as requested. Support control officer on all aspects of scheduling, briefing materials production, and managing visit logistics, in coordination with Mission front office and other staff. Follow up with office staff to ensure that follow-up actions as agreed at conferences and meetings are met.
