Job Responsibilities - Head of Year
• Lead the team of teachers within my designated academic area and share responsibility with the Senior Leadership Team for effectively delivering the curriculum to the students as well as ensuring their pastoral care.
• Maintain consistency in the teaching and learning while coordinating the work of all the faculty members within the department.
• Work in close association with the Curriculum Specialist and Heads of Schools to inform them on the progress of each grade and section pertaining to staff performance, students’ pastoral care and their attainment including class results, averages, assessments and projects.
• Keep abreast of all developments, curriculum based, pastoral care and cocurricular, that are relevant to the
department and ensure all planning reflects changes when necessary.
First Class in Bachelor's Degree, B.Ed
Bachelor of Arts with First Class above Distinction.
