Responsibilities:
Maintenance Management:
• Assist Manager Engineering for overall plant maintenance which includes Preventive Maintenance & troubleshooting of Compressors, Blowers, Pumps, HVAC Equipment's, RO Plants and Boilers.
• Prepare yearly & bi-yearly maintenance schedules of all machines and ensure implementation of schedules.
• Ensure availability of resources as per scheduled maintenance.
• Estimation of maintenance costs and evaluation of alternatives after discussion with Engineering Head.
• Prepare Monthly schedules of Mechanical workshop & allocate resources against scheduled activities at Primavera P6.
• Ensure availability of resources and also implementation of schedule.
• Prepare and submit monthly report of Maintenance Activities.
Operations:
• Prepare & submit daily costing of Boilers, RO Plants, Compressors, Chillers & Power House to Manager Engineering.
• Monitor operational parameters of Boiler, Chiller, AC Plant, RO Plants, Generators & Compressors through log books & by self monitoring.
Project Management:
• Assist Manager Engineering in all phases of projects.
• Identify requirements & prepare pre-feasibility report of the Project.
• Sizing of pipelines & storage tanks as per requirements of the project.
• Select & design routes for pipelines & support structures.
• Prepare isometric drawings of piping system machines installation.
• Prepare BOQ’s (Bill of Quantity) from isometric drawings.
• Prepare WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), Schedule different activities & allocate resources against each activity of the project at Primavera P6.
• Cost estimation of the project from allocated resources.
• Ensure availability of material & labor w.r.t different project activities.
• Supervise execution of all project activities.
• Make sure all project activities should be done as per schedule and as per planned resources.
• Deal with the vendors & contractors.
• Monitor project progress & prepare daily, weekly & Monthly project progress reports and submit to Manager Engineering.
Projects/Achievements:
• Erection of 410 ton Steam Absorption Chiller & AC Plant & Cooling Towers.
• Erection of 8 ton Coal Fired Boiler.
• Replacement of Steam/Condensate/Air/Water/Suction pipelines of whole factory with new sizes & routes.
• Working on expansion plan of processing unit and installation of new yarn dyeing machines.
Part Time Worked as a Planning & Estimation in Mass Corporation (a Mechanical Contracting Company) from 16th April 2012 to 31 July 2013.
Job Responsibilities:
• Read & understand the requirements of the project & prepare 1st estimation reports of the project.
• Prepare quotations of the project after estimation of cost.
• Prepare isometric drawings of the piping system if not provided by the clients.
• Perform different engineering calculations as per requirements of the project.
• Prepare BOQ’s from the drawings.
• Prepare WBS, Schedule different activities & allocate resources against each activity of the project at Primavera P6.
• Prepare 2nd cost estimation report of the project from allocated resources.
• Once a week visit of sites to meet with clients to different projects & follow up of projects also.
• After setting baselines of the project, update project activities & Prepare weekly & monthly project progress reports.
