Developing the baseline schedule, updating, monitoring in Primavera P6, preparing revised schedule if required, and reviewing contractor construction schedules, submittals, material delivery, and procurement logs.
• Update the project master Schedule on weekly basis to analyze the project bottlenecks & advice necessary action.
• Review and monitor the weekly and monthly reports, periodic reports submissions, 2week look ahead & 3-month look ahead Schedule against the baseline Schedule.
• Resource Planning and Forecasting of projects & activities.
• Review & monitor the project overall project progress, especially for activities on the critical path & near the critical path. Analysis techniques used are manpower histograms & S-Curve.
• Compare and analyze earned value using earned value management system.
Oversee the operation of a project along with the project manager and prepare and update the project schedule based on the contract. Prepare various strategies for all planning activities for projects.
• Communicate with the project manager on project progress, unusual concerns, and plans.
• Support project manager and ensure timely addressing of project contractual deliverables.
• Organize and administer the project activities in coordination with the project manager.
• Ensure optimal utilization of all common tools and processes.
• Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan
• Recommend appropriate improvements and ensure optimal quality of all project schedules and evaluate reports.
• Overlook the construction activities as per schedule.
Manage a team of subcontractors, junior engineers, and labors to deliver projects on schedule. Develop strategies, determine material and labor costs, monitor crew performance and all stages of work, and provide solutions.
• Preparation of Project Schedule (Primavera P6) covering the entire scope and within timelines.
• Provide Schedule Input to Cost Control for Cash Flow every month
• Collect periodic updates and prepare weekly and monthly updates of the project.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules to oversee future progress.
• Monitor work progress for the project.
• Attend weekly progress meetings and discuss progress and critical activities.
• Critical path analysis.
• Calculate costs and manpower for the project and earned value management.
• Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide accurate weekly and monthly reports.
• Support the project team at the site.
Work in conjunction with the Planning Manager and Project Controls Manager in the overall development of the project.
• Develop master baseline construction schedule with cost and resource loaded and WBS using Primavera P6 software.
• Calculating Productivity, Material requirements, and Manpower Requirements.
Updating and monitoring project schedule in addition to following up on the milestones.
• Prepare and update look ahead schedules that reflect priority activities.
• Analyzing project schedule and implementing logic as per actual site conditions.
• Prepare actual and planned project S curves.
• Requisition to the estimating team & transmittals of material costs.
• Co-ordinate with departments like Cost control for budgeting, Procurement during Project initiation time.
• Monitoring of actual resources availability & analysis using Histogram.
• Measure variance from project baseline.
• Submitting the schedule to the planning manager for verification & review.
