teaching a 14-week IELTS Preparation Course
Conducting lessons (Business, General English, ESP) to corporate clients (groups or one-to-one). Compiling attendance and performance reports.
Planning and conducting lessons (General English, Business English and English for Specific Purposes), evaluations and assessments. Preparing students for the IELTS exam.
For 1.5 years I worked as a teacher cum a project coordinator, where apart from teaching I supervised and monitored trainees’ academic performance, planned and scheduled project/courses timelines, provided direction and support to all teachers involved in the project, constantly reported on progress of the course to the clients, evaluated and assessed project results.
Conducted lessons, placement and progress assessments and examinations during the course. Combined teaching General English, Business English and English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in order to equip trainees with the necessary knowledge and skills. Participated in curriculum development for specific courses such as English Customer Care, English for Customs. Prepared high school graduates for IELTS exam, taught Business English to the UAE government employees as a part of Work Readiness Program and participated in preparing military personnel for ALCPT (American Language Course Placement Test).
Compiled & maintained progress reports, up-to-date record of attendance and performance on a regular basis.
Planned/executed English lessons, graded all written work, conducted and reviewed students’ assessments.
