• Administration of Toronto Hydro’s multiple Data center facilities in GTA.
• Conduct Data Centre tours with company executives and management officials.
• Maintains detailed floor plans, configuration documentation and schematics in order to plan future implementations and trouble shoot issues.
• Create, maintain and update Data Center documentation, including floor plans, cable run diagrams and cabinet elevation drawings.
• Monitor devices using DCIM tool (UPSs, PDUs, CRAC units, rack ATS, etc)
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architects, project managers and Facilities personnel to implement short and long term strategic plans to ensure that the data center capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Coordinate with Facilities personnel for any activities like maintenance of adequate power supply and cooling of the data centers.
• Perform scheduled changes including installation, relocation and removal of hardware, PDUs, power cables and network cables (fiber and copper), patch panels and conduits.
• Responsible for performing inventory checks and updating spreadsheets.
• Order required supplies from various vendors and update inventory spreadsheet.
• Train data center technicians to follow the DC operational procedures.
• Perform QA after the work is completed by DC techs and cabling contractors.

• Develops and coordinates hardware implementation, plans and checklists to communicate and to engage required parties.
• Maintains detailed floor plans, configuration documentation and schematics in order to plan future implementations and trouble shoot issues.
• Participates in project meetings as required to represent and communicate Hardware Support requirements.
• Plans and regularly reviews equipment protection against security threats and environmental hazards.

• Maintain relationship with vendors and suppliers daily/weekly/monthly as required.
