It is a role of Maintenance Support static equipments (Head office based) to carry out on plot piping replacements, engineering and maintenance of tanks and vessels on sites having annual budget of 15 million USD. Along with it also execute operations / maintenance Projects.
To carry out the maintenance of static equipments like tanks, vessels, piping etc by liaising with in house as well as outside vendors/ contractors.
Carry out small EPC projects (Facility Change proposals as per site operations requirements) from engineering, HAZOP, HAZID, DESIGN REVIEW, etc. till procurement and installation.
Participate in establishing KPI’s and contribute to achieve company targets.
Provide technical support in troubleshooting complex failures in equipment and systems to ensure efficient and cost effective resolution of problems.
Develop Shutdown/Turn Around scope of work for field equipment.
Coordinate constructability reviews and integrate operational / maintenance / human factor aspects in engineering design for the project.
Develop project execution strategies/plans and execute for projects from Engineering till and over/Closeout.
Focal point of Budget and planning. Responsible for preparing budget for the whole year, phasing, budget monitoring etc.
Develop Contracting and Procurement strategy and execute via Contracting &Procurement team.
Manage construction aspects through Site Construction team.
Track and monitor plan/actual project status to ensure timely development, execution, close out including as-built documentation.
Successfully developed and implemented procedures and processes to complete the jobs in minimum possible time.
Extensive coordination with outside contractors / vendors for job planning and progress.
Carry out monthly GAMBA walk in Contractor’s premises to ensure the proper implementation of LEAN.
Have good knowledge of SHELL D.E.Ps (Design and Engineering Procedures)
-It is a role of Field Manager having double responsibility to oversee smooth operations and maintenance of plant by managing multi-disciplinary teams (Operations, Production, maintenance, QHSE and facilities), annual budgets, set annual objectives, Project Management and expansion or modification of facility, manage all human resource & administration tasks with additional role of Maintenance Head.
During construction phase, coordinated with contractors for civil, Mechanical and E&I jobs, client and head office for smooth, timely and cost effective completion of project.
Ensured that all Mechanical, E&I and civil jobs are carried out as per applicable international engineering and QHSSE standards.
Planned, supervised and coordinated Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Participated in establishing the organization including recruiting and hiring
Oversee Operational / Budgetary planning cost control and scheduling related to O & M (Operations and Maintenance) of whole plant.
Recommends and monitors training for site personnel.
For shutdown activities, work as a Shutdown Coordinator. Make plan on MS Project, allocate resources, arrangements for accommodation of extra staff, Assign responsibilities to engineers and supervisors, material arrangements, ensured timely and safe jobs execution, progress monitoring, and coordination with client.
Chair detailed shutdown meetings with internal departments and client to provide them complete pictures of related activities.
Attend safety Audits and chair meetings with related departments to get solutions for observations and monitor them until their close-out.
Coordinate with contractors or vendors for any sort of modification or trouble shooting job on plant.
Ensured Preparation of maintenance reports for planned / unplanned activities.
Analyse and study scope of work and ensure that work is accomplishing as per contract.
Plan, direct, control and manage the activities of assigned personnel in the Multi- Discipline Maintenance Department.
Responsible for planning and implementing all maintenance activities in field operations from a financial, safety and operational perspective.
Monitor and troubleshoot all sorts of problems arising in rotating (Compressors (screw type, and multi-stage Reciprocating), Generators (Waukesha (1MW), Perkins, CAT (1.8MW), pumps (Reciprocating, centrifugal, gear etc), fin fan coolers, etc)) and static equipments (piping, vessels, columns, Heater etc) and apply cost effective solution for them.
Plan & monitor maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance routines, major overhauls and shut downs. Ensure that the required maintenance work is resourced and completed in accordance with job schedules, agreed practices and planned periods.
Develop and maintain rotating equipment checks for continuous condition monitoring and carry out RCFA (Root Cause Fault Analysis) in case of any failure
Review and analyse all relevant data and provide information / report to the client and management on overall machine condition / integrity.
Provide expert Technical advice to operations and maintenance teams on day to day issues related to rotating and static equipments.
Develop, implement and track Preventive Maintenance and condition monitoring plans for all rotating equipments including, data gathering, lube oil analysis, vibration analysis etc.
Responsible for making budgets for whole year, cost control and scheduling for Operations and Maintenance related activities.
Ensure proper implementation of preventive maintenance plan for excellent machines conditions, with a minimum production interruption.
Ensure proper implementation of QHSSE policy, standards and procedures.
Mentored staff on safe work practices, technical on hand trainings, work ethics and international safety standards.
Project: Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of 300MMSCFD Gas Processing Facility for MOL.
As Planning Incharge:
-Overall responsibility for the smooth execution of project planning schedules.
-Plan effective utilization of available resources and provide recommendations to higher management
-Ensuring that construction activities are carried out as per schedule and identify and highlight issues and risks that could cause delay in project.
-Analyze and study scope of work and ensure that work is accomplishing as per contract
-Direct Planning Engineers to extract daily targets from main plan and advise Construction Manager to achieve these targets.
-Prepare Project Management OBS and WBS for all project schedules.
-Track and control construction cost against project budget to avoid cost overruns.
-Prepare, analyze and interpret presentations related to project progress.
-Plan and control proper materials management at site.
-Manage and execute Spool mapping, joint marking, dossier control, Making Test Packs for hydro testing of piping, coordination with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) staff for results and make strategies based on results. Resolving drawing problems after co-ordination with client etc.
-Prepare invoices as well as budgetary calculations for project.
-Raising indents, scrutiny of suppliers, negotiation, approving quotations, inspection of material received etc.
-Review and verify bills and invoices from contractor.
-Coordinate with all internal departments, client and Head office for smooth running of project.
-Planning, scheduling, and coordinating corrective, preventive & predictive maintenance activities by using ORACLE EAM software.
-Involved in Implementation of Computer Maintenance Management System on plant, prepared its input data and coordinate with other departments for its implementation and utilization. Also mentored other staff for its proper usage.
-Generating Work Orders, Purchase Requisitions on EAM, ordering spare parts as per specs, and Technical approval for quotations, follow up of Requisitions and Inspection of material received.
-Overall planning of maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance routines, major overhauls and shutdown. Ensures that the required maintenance work is resourced and completed in accordance with job schedules, agreed practices and planned periods.
-Work as Shutdown Coordinator for annual planned shutdowns.
-Involved in dealing issues with Asset and Inventory management.
-Prepare and track plans using (MS PROJECT / P3) for all types of maintenance activities, like routine overhauls, planned shutdown, major inspections, etc.
-Responsible for making budgets for whole year and cost control for maintenance related activities.
-Prepare and monitor monthly and yearly expenses reports for machines maintenance costs.
-Calculating & monitoring equipments performing rates.
-Monitoring consumables & spare parts stock and re-order them.
-Following up maintenance activities on sites.
-Ensure proper implementation and tracking of continuous condition monitoring plan for all rotating equipments that includes, data gathering, lube oil sampling, vibration analysis etc
-Ensure that all drawings, plans, manuals and data books are up to date and direct draftsmen to carry out all corrections to reflect any alterations, modifications, and additions to mechanical equipment systems.
-Coordinate with third party contractors for any sort of modification / new job on plant.
A multi National Manufacturers of Sulfuric Acid, Aluminum Sulfate, Soda Ash etc) in KSA.
-Involved in preparation of FEED document for the project.
-Involved in maintenance of already running plant (pumps (Centrifugal, screw type), compressors (Screw type), boilers, Furnace (sulfur fired), Heat Exchangers, Absorption towers, etc.)
-Responsible for the Designing, Detailed Engineering, Fabrication, Erection and commissioning of the Equipment (Furnace, absorption towers, shell & plate type Heat-Exchangers, Boilers, Centrifugal & Screw Pumps and Chemical Storage tanks (API 650) etc.)
-Fabrication & Erection of Piping (M.S, & C.I.) on racks and around equipments.
-Involved in the Pre-commissioning activities (Hydro / Pneumatic testing and flushing of lines, reinstatements etc.)
-Involved in purchasing of equipment for the plant, searching suppliers, their scrutiny, verification of received quotations, placing orders, inspection of material received etc.

Worked on Project Management, Fabrication of Heat Exchangers, Boilers, Pressure Vessels, etc. 3) 1 months internship at Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited, Lahore, Pakistan, (2001). Worked on working of Assembly Lines.
