Provide expertise to the Key/Global accounts sourcing cost effective and reliable Logistics products ranging from Ocean, Air, In Land haulage, Rail, Custom Clearance, Warehousing, eComm, Distribution, 4PL and SCM solutions.

Supervise a team of 5 Country Heads/ BDMs in each country. Key activities include;

Develop and implement regional strategies and get them aligned with the center and Global teams while securing required budgets, regional support and set up business targets.

Coach and direct country heads to implement vertical strategy in their respective AOR and achieve business targets and goals.

Participate in local and regional RFQs and get the sourcing teams aligned for each Product to secure competitive prices for the clients.

Analyze weekly contract fulfilment %age and take quick action if required. Continuously scrutinize the contract pricing with the spot rates and highlight to pricing teams for any required tweaks.

Closely monitor the performance against the budget while keeping strict controls over costs.

handling 5, 000 containers / Yr (40 Ft.) i.e. 40 Million pcs / Yr with more than 200, 000 SKUs at any given
point.
 Optimized transportation model, warehousing operations and logistics services to drive reduction
in logistics cost to business and improve the quality of deliverables.
 Ensured smooth material flow across countrys entire supply chain network; from port to DCs and
then to 75 stores across Kuwait.
 Drove operational improvements while eliminating wastes, non-value-added activities and non

ensure strict compliance across the region.
 Led five (5) ERP implementation projects introducing Oracle WMS to; 1) Baby Shop UAE 2) Splash
Qatar 3) MAX Dammam 4) Lifestyle Dammam 5) Shoe Mart Dammam.
 Inception of Mega DC - Worked with foreign consultants (LN Consult) to study Companys current
supply chain network and infrastructures in order to provide future solution i.e. two new central
automated Mega Distribution Centers (DCs) in UAE and KSA to handle Landmarks growth till
2020. (Approx. project cost was 400 Million Euro).
 Conducted Warehouse audits at Regional DCs after Oracle implementation on regular basis to
ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures.
 Deployed automation; new picking technologies i.e. Voice Picking & Pack to Light system across
GCC. Performed detailed Proof-of-Concept, established the ROI and shared findings with the BUs
and senior Management for approvals. Rolled out both technologies across GCC by mid-2014 with
a potential cost saving of 1 Million USD per year.

 Restructured procurement at Corporate level for 9 Warehouses across Ontario through tendering
out bulk requirement and implementing new procurement policies for the region. Recorded savings
of 140, 000 USD for the first year.
 Carried out cost saving initiatives at Honda and Acura spare parts facility. Provided a new pick
slotting setup keeping in view several operational factors e.g. SKU movement / velocity, handling,
storage, stacking, MHE used and picking methodology. Improved the picking productivity up to
13% giving savings of 250, 000 USD / Yr.
 Re-designed ConAgra Foods (FMCG) facility in Calgary proposing new racking solution with drive
in and selective racking. Developed layout in AutoCAD and provided new MHE, labor
requirements, system costs and an overall payback time for the solution.
 Assisted VP Sales and Head of Engineering in developing budgets / sales offers for several new
business opportunities (3PL solutions) by designing conceptual layouts in AutoCAD, storage
methodologies and detailed annual & start-up budgets while calculating equipment costs, labor
requirements and other details based on the proposed business solution.
