Assistant Procurement Manager. (May 2012 —Till to date) MEDI-TECH For Health Care Services (Mazeen Al Saeed Group)

• Develop and Implement Strategies to effectively manage the different aspect of Supply including sourcing, procurement, warehousing, logistics and material management.
• Manage and oversee global Supply chain operation, work with all departments to accurately forecast inventory level and inventory movement up to the optimum level.
• Lead and manage the material forecasting in cooperation with marketing and sales.
• Monitor and Control purchase and logistic costs.
• Create Value by optimization of all aspects of supply chain function and develop performance measures to monitor achievements and effectiveness.
• Study and analyse the shipping agent with full details, i.e. Ocean, Air, Land and Customs Clearance, etc.
• Liaise with the suppliers/ distributors to the collections are carried out on time.
• Manage & Monitor all import consignment, timely and competitive movement from the supplier warehouse/factory or loading ports to destination ports and company warehouse/factory or project site.
• Monitor container booking and stuffing, sea freight/air freight negotiations with forwarder/shipping agent. Checking for price with different Freight Forwarders, to select a suitable one with price and service and importantly to check mode of shipment whether to bring it by Express Service, Air or Sea.
• Manages and get the goods insured by insurance company or shipping company and claiming the damages or loss in the event of any mishap.
• Monitor and follow up the incoming/outgoing original shipping documents compliance with ( INCOTERMS) international Trade terms and Saudi Customs authority clearance requirement. Communication with clearing agent on proper time for the clearance of shipment to avoid any delay or miss happenings
• Responsible for negotiating with all major suppliers to achieve consistency in use of suppliers, synergies ( cost savings) and enhance the overall supplier take on process.
• Proper follow up with Supplier to make sure the order confirm, process and release from supplier’s end on time.
• Checking Shipping Impact, I have to calculate the shipping charges with the value of the order, so as to bring under controlled shipping impact.

• Registration of the suppliers and products with Saudi Food and Drug Authority.
• Monitoring and advising on all the products what type of documents and licenses are required to import our products.
• Communication with Saudi Food and Drug authority and suppliers with all sorts of regulatory issues.
• Monitoring ware house activities, products are arranged properly in the shelves, receiving and deliveries of orders are managed in accurate way and also in time.
 Order Handling
This is an important aspect to carry our supervision in any business environment. The main aspects are as under:-

• To carefully monitor stock level of all items.
• To maintain list of fast moving and slow moving items.
• The items on order list are to be maintained and a proper follow up to ensure that the re-order items come into stock on time.
• This whole process requires a thorough knowledge of inventory management.
