Managing different engineering-disciplines of various brown- and greenfield projects for the
sugar industry at global level. Projects ranging between 10 and 70M€ budget.
Key responsibilities
▪ Coordinate with all parties concerned and supply required documentations.
▪ Responsible of completing design of the project and the planning in coordination with
the engineering.
▪ Provide tenders and requisitions, negotiated with third-party vendors and
subcontractors for cost estimation and project schedule.
▪ Manage order execution based on clients' technical requirement to best serve clients'
needs.
▪ Update the change control board about the project progress, maintain contacts with
other stakeholders to achieve best final project results.
Key achievements
▪ Monitored and accomplished various projects from the first idea up to the final
acceptance test of the plant within budget and schedule.
▪ Successfully executed numerous projects worldwide including the MENA region.
Managed an engineering project of 20M€ to increase final product output rate in a bakery
plant. Led team of 10+ technicians to install and commission new machines and equipment.
Key responsibilities
▪ Interfaced with other departments such as engineering and operations staff to
implement new facilities into the bakery without interrupting running production.
▪ Monitored on-site assembly progress to ensure that activities are in-line with the
approved project schedule.
▪ Coordinated the installation of new machines including the delivery, retrofit,
commissioning and factory acceptance test.
▪ Oversaw a team of technicians to follow up the installation of the new bakery plant and
project handover to costumer.
▪ Managed the design and engineering reviews, the variations and claims record from
the customer and prepared project evaluation reports.
Key achievment
Increased production output rate by 40% and reduced energy consumption by 30%.
Responsible of developing project engineering documents related to large juice, beverage
and dairy plants. Projects ranging between 3 and 40M€ budget.
Key responsibilities
▪ Prepared and reviewed contract documents, plants drawings and specifications for
code compliance and assembly procedures.
▪ Reviewed project plans and proposals to develop project objectives.
▪ Supported the purchasing department by qualifying vendors to improve quality,
performance and costs.
▪ Prepared engineering documentation such as P&ID, PFD and Layout plans in respect
of customer requirement.
Key achievements
▪ Manged and coordinated new sale product that significantly decreases utilities
consumptions in the food process industry.
