A Senior Functional Consultant at IBM's Global Business Services division, where I was deployed in several key projects with strategic clients such as: UAE Roads & Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, British Petroleum Iraq.
During these projects, I have attained comprehensive knowledge and experience in: team building & management, process design & implementation, business & requirements analysis, project management, system roll out & change management, training, presentation, negotiation, customer service & client relationship building, proposal writing and business development.
I have demonstrated a proven ability to lead meetings with focus on outcomes, follow up on project issues until resolution, liaising between client, IBM teams in UAE & abroad, and several other vendors from other companies & geographies. The projects I worked in were exceptionally challenging in terms of their nature, complex teams, and tight time frames.

Responsible for marketing the company's wide range of telecom products: Indoor/Outdoor wireless networks, VoIP, and billing systems.
Revamped the company's website in terms of design & content.
Managed customers through the CRM system.
Prepared marketing and advertising materials (brochures, product datasheets, and solution demos), and organized events and conferences (the main one being the company’s GITEX presence).
- Part of the team preparing a complete business plan for BDO Jordan over the next five years.
- Conducted intensive market research and a detailed SWOT analysis.
- Attended industry conferences, and participated during client negotiations and closing deals.
- Involved heavily in creating a Marketing Strategy with yearly budgets and objectives.
- Wrote three articles about BDO published in a local newspaper.
- Held a company-wide meeting to discuss issues that restrained efficiency and productivity.
- Created quantitative business models by using MS Excel data analysis program, Solver function, and Financial and Statistical functions. These models include forecasting, budgeting, completed and scheduled activities, client buying frequency, potential clients/markets and more.
- Assigned to represent BDO in a workshop supported by EJADA (Euro-Jordanian Action for Development of Enterprise).
- Welcomed BDO’s prospective international affiliates with an informative seminar about BDO’s achievements, objectives, policies and code of conduct.
- Attended a three-day session on legal and administrative issues for start-up businesses and SME’s in Jordan; Qualified Industrial Zones (QIZ); and business legislation.
- Proposed a website design for BDO Jordan, with the proper layout and content.
During my work with BDO Business Consultants and Chartered Accountants, I worked with a team of three on analysing BDO’s financial statements in order to properly assess its performance and compare it to the market. Our analysis included extracting useful numbers from past income/cash flow statements and balance sheets; generating ratios and translating them into decisions/targets; and setting reasonable budgets for specific areas such as marketing, PR, networking events, research and training
In order to develop a Business plan for BDO, a number of useful analysis tools were used such as SWOT analysis, Competitive Analysis, CSF, Benchmarking, ROI, Resource Allocation.
- Helped with the administration, organization and promotion of the association.
- Arranged activities to raise funds and popularize the association.
- Carried out several presentations discussing the association’s achievements and objectives.
- Had the opportunity to personally communicate with businessmen and women in Canada; network; and get valuable feedback from active members.
