• Undertake partnership development and networking initiatives to further improve working relationships between the Governors’ Office and international and national stakeholders in the area of operation
• Promote the involvement of Governors and Qaimaqams in huamanitarian and development activities where suitable (e.g. contingency planning). Keep Governors’ offices informed of major developments in the crisis response
• Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders including ministry representatives (MoSA, MoEW, MoPH) Security actors (ISF, LAF, GSO), Municipalities, Districts, UN agencies and NGOs at local level
• Serve as Governor’s Office liaison at field level for host community/stabilization/resilience issues, including engagement in the Social Cohesion and Livelihoods sector, co-chaired by UNDP and UNHCR and led by MoSA.
• Support initiatives to plan and implement training and capacity building projects that target local authorities, security authorities and local organizations
