Contracts Manager for Hail and Ghasha, Dalma and SARB Projects. Hail and Ghasha Project is the largest Sour Gas Project in the World.
CH2M HILL has been awarded a project management consultancy services contract by Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operation on January 2013 to manage the Expansion of Bab Gas Compression Project -2 with a value of more than USD 500, 000, 000.
My responsibility is to manage and controlling all contractual and commercial issues including but not limited to the following:
- Prepare Contract Documents for both parties stamp and signature
- Insurance and bank guarantees
- Monthly invoices
- Review daily correspondences with the contractor and prepare the corresponding responses
- Attend weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings and initiate the related MOM
- Review weekly and monthly progress reports and provide comments; if any
- Review and negotiate contractor claims
- Review and provide support to planning team for close out reports
- Provide contractual advice to the project team members
- Making sure that contractor is fully compliance to the contract terms and conditions.
- Mitigate disputes with the Contractor in a fairness way up to close out.
review and negotiate during tendering period contractual conditions of received tenders.
Managing on going contracts communications with clients and subcontractors including variations in addition to solving all disputes.
Monitoring and supervising procurement department for purchasing different types of material to support the ongoing projects including consumables, bulk materials and equipment.
manage and control on daily basis manpower distribution and recruitment based on projects need
Preparing tenders and follow up including clarifications and/or amendments if any up to bid closing date, then quantification, technical and commercial evaluation up to award. then managing contracts activities during execution.
