Project description:

The project is intended for Qatar Airways’ senior staff accommodation and
comprises 4B+GF+29+P FL with different apartment options, a mix of two- and
three-bedroom units.The basic amenities are provided to cater to the needs of the
senior staff in terms of recreation and other service facilities on the GF and 1st FL.
The remaining 28 Typical Floors are occupied with apartments only. Allocated on
the top of the roof and basements, many mechanical and electrical rooms.

Management experience:

•Attending all internal and client planning meetings to develop a proper and
feasible base plan program that can be implemented and executed on site.
•Managing the MEP engineering department in order to submit all the proper
documentation in line with the project specification and international standards.
•Leading the MEP internal meeting with subcontractors, in which the next three
weeks look ahead, generated by the planners, are thoroughly discussed and
scheduled.
•Attending all the client technical, QAQC, progress, commercial, and authority
meetings.
•Reviewing and assessing all the interim payments exchanged between the client,
subcontractors, and suppliers.
•Managing and monitoring the procurement of the major MEP items and
conducting
internal meetings on a weekly basis, with the subcontractors to discuss the progress
of the material delivery on site.
•Directing all the electrical and mechanical site activities by determining the
resources required to complete the milestones of the project and develop
trackers for monitoring the progress and productivity of the allocated teams.
•Conducting on a daily basis site walks to ensure the implementation of the set
targets and
make sure that the proper coordination with civil parties
•Attending a KPI meeting with the Top management
•In charge of the specialized pool and SPA subcontractors

Scope of Work/ technical works:
•Reviewing all the design drawings received from the client.
•Designing and engineering all mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, and

well-operating and maintainable system (for client change requests).
•Raising RFIs (Requests for Information) for discrepancies and/or technical
problems that are apparent from the received drawings and/or during the

Construction Work:
•Handling all the site activities related to mechanical works
•Supervising the testing and commissioning of the building management system
and ensuring the correct execution of its interface with the building's mechanical
and electrical systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, fire alarm, ELV,
generator, UPS, crac units, equipment control panel, etc.
•Takeoff and Procurement of mechanical material (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting,
and drainage)
•Estimating the required manpower and duration to finish each activity in
coordination with other trades, civil works, and in compliance with the project
master plan.
•Resource management by assigning and distributing the tasks and activities to the
supervisors, foremen, and workers to achieve better efficiency and productivity,
all in accordance with the project master plan and budget.
•Supervising the subcontractor site mechanical Installation works, activities, and
progress.
•Supervising and attending all QAQC activities such as material inspection,
installation, inspection, testing & commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical
systems and works
