• Perform preventive maintenance on testing machines to maintain their performance and avoid production issues.
• Responsible for Thirteen Flying Probe testing machines, make sure they are operating all the time and supply their defected hardware by working with the machine suppliers also replace defected hardware.
• Perform routine daily checkups on testing machines and address any issue with machinery or operators.
• Debug testing programs to cover part changes on assemblies and make sure they are covered in the test plan for the future lots to be tested.
• Troubleshoot failing boards with test techs using lab equipment such as multimeters, LCRs and prepare rework instructions for production cells to fix the issues.
• Perform machine diagnostics on machine circuit cards and replace them as needed.
• Work with suppliers on repining of HP testing fixtures to improve test results and fixture performance during the test and avoid production delays.
• Train operators on how to operate testing machines, check for defected parts like testing probes and probe wires that can cause issues with testing results and isolate the issue down to the specific defected part.
• Perform capacity analysis for In Circuit Testing “ICT” area to make sure we have right amount of machinery and operators to cover increasing production demands.
• Schedule supplier visits to perform machine calibrations and routine checkups.

• Review supplier’s first article inspection data to make sure data meet our MIL and IPC specifications and provide written approval to ship final finished boards.
• Lead meetings with core team to review and approve Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and work with Configuration Management personnel to make sure TDPs get released.
• Work with supply chain planners on Printed Wiring Board/Circuit Card Assembly quotes and on placing Purchase Orders based on schedule and cost.
