•Plans and designs the electrical project from feasibility to implementation.
• Develops electrical design drawings fire detection alarm system, grounding layout, load center
schedule, single line diagram, cable and conduit schedule, including various electrical installation
details.
• Performs and prepares required calculation of cable & circuit breaker sizing, generator sizing, panel board, load calculation, load analysis.
• Coordinates with client, consultants, project management team and vendors for any site
instruction & inspection of works, project review and changes. .
• Follows and inspect construction development. directs electrical supervisor / supervisors, briefs
them in conformance to the design standards, specifications and ensures compliance to safety
measures. Estimates the electrical bill of materials for construction costing.
• Direct supervision and distribution of work to cad operator, ensures the quality of design are in
accordance to Engineering standards, latest NEC & NFPA SBC edition and other related
International and Local codes.
• Reviewing submitted shop drawings and material submittals against the drawings and
specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Providing technical input and experience to resolve discipline-related engineering issues on the
project
• Checking and ensuring co-ordination between discipline-related services works and all other
disciplines.
Experience of power distribution through medium voltage and low voltage cables.
Experience of designing the power distribution networks
Experience of Low voltage Cables and Low current Cables and fittings.
Qualified Low Voltage Building Systems (CCTV, Access control, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, Public address.
Design and supervision for the installation of Low -Voltage System
Fire alarm system, lighting control system, CCTV, telephone and data structured cabling systems, other technical and professional responsibilities assigned by the management in the Construction sectors.
