• Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies
• Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers
• Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
• Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question
• Preparing CV's and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants
• Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalizing arrangements between client and candidates
• Developing creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the graphic designer
• Writing clear, persuasive, original copy
• Updating digital media
• Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar
• Keeping up to date with popular culture and trends
• Assessing the level of English speaking proficiency of clients
• Developing content, Editing/ Proofreading for the Berlitz newsletter
• Communications: Drafting emails and invitations to be sent to all employees
• Miscellaneous administrative work such as record keeping, data entry.
As an intern I was responsible for the seamless Onboarding process of the recruits from the International Graduate and Fast Track Graduate Programs 2012. Responsibilities included:
• Creating personnel files, assigning ‘Mentors’ and ‘Buddies’ to the graduates, Managing rotations
• Writing individual Buddy and Mentor profiles
• Brainstorming effective Ice Breakers for the trainings and assistingthe supervisor during trainings
