• Estimating and Cost Planning: Preparing cost estimates by analyzing project scope and specifications, performing quantity takeoffs, and pricing materials, labor, and equipment. Developing cost plans and budget estimates for construction projects.
• Tender Documentation: Preparing tender documents such as bills of quantities, specifications, and contract documents. Ensuring that the documents are accurate and complete, and in compliance with project requirements and regulations.
• Tender Evaluation: Reviewing and analyzing the bids received from subcontractors and suppliers, comparing the pricing and technical submissions, and making recommendations to the Tender Committee.
• Value Engineering: Suggesting value engineering options that can help reduce project costs while maintaining quality and functionality.
• Risk Management: Identifying and managing risks related to cost and contract issues during the tender process, and developing risk mitigation plans.
• Negotiation: Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers regarding pricing, contract terms, and other relevant issues during the tender process.
• Post-tender activities: Participating in post-tender activities such as awarding contracts, preparing final budgets, and conducting cost analysis reports.
• Coordination: Coordinating with other departments, such as the design team and the procurement team, to ensure that all project requirements are met.
• Change Order Management: Reviewing and processing change orders and requests for payment from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Cost Control: Monitoring project costs and expenses, and implementing measures to control costs and stay within budget.

• Review of Tender documents on receipt to ensure its completeness.
• Organize / take part in bid initiation & review meeting.
• Ensure that clarifications are raised well in time to get better clarity on bid submission.
• All in-house co-ordination for preparation of bid including follow-up, collection of input from various sub-contractors or 3rd party.
• Clear understanding of work scope & best estimation with respect to execution of project.
• Ensure that commercial submissions to tenders are fully complied with all necessary details.
• Ensure completeness of Subcontract Enquiry Packages and availability of Subcontract offers well in time.
• Ensure Subcontractor responses are complete & tabulated accurately on a Bid Evaluation spreadsheet.
• Ensure the Indirect Cost Estimate is correctly prepared and costed.
• Assist Proposals Manager in the identification, evaluation and ranking of risks as well as developing a strategy to manage and mitigate the risks to Company.
• Ensures the Estimate Basis is “Current Costs” and escalation is properly covered. Wherever possible a good value of estimate contingencies to be captured.
• Present to Proposals Manager for review the Cost Estimate in detail prior to review of the tender by Management.
• Assist Proposals Manager with the preparation of a list of clarifications and qualifications to the proposal.
• Ensure that Clients pricing and technical tender schedules are complete and accurate.
• Maintain Lessons Learnt database from existing projects.
• Assist Proposals Manager in other various departmental development work

• Monitor & Supervise the Current Projects (KMC Project Wafra, D&P Filling Station for KNPC, Tank Foundations for KNPC). Total Cost 12, 000, 000/- KD
• Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Management
• Deal with Sub Contractors and send them related Documents, Details & Drawings to collect Quotations from them.
• Prepare Comparison Sheet and give recommendation to Management for selection of Subcontractor.
• Preparing Subcontract Agreement and get approval from Management.
• Prepare and monitor monthly payments of Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Attend meetings with Clients and Subcontractors
• Prepare Basic Estimation of the project

• Monitor & Supervise the Current Project (Project Cost KD 6, 000, 000/- )
• Prepare and ensure the completeness of tender documents
• To Deal with Sub Contractors and send they related Documents, Details & Drawings to collect Quotations from them.
• Prepare quotations and hardware schedules based on floor plans and door schedules provided.
• Manage the tender query and response process.
