Designing, implementation and installation of IP based network, configuration and commissioning of new Routers and switches in network.
Responsible to work on MPLS Core and Edge Routers, and to perform all troubleshooting tasks as per the requirements.
Maintain needed files by adding configuration strings and backing up configuration files to guarantee their safety in the event of problems with the network.
Commissioning and integrating Huawei Routers, NE series, ME series and N9k series.
Preparing and configuring the scripts involving all datacom devices to integrate with
telecommunication devices under IPRAN network.
Providing IP and VLAN plans to access layer for telecom services end stations
(BTS/NodeB/eNodes).
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer related issues.
• Expanding Mobily access network through new technologies (PTP, PMP, OLTs).
• Handling Customers/Core tickets assigned in remedy.
• Provide tier II network support and mentoring for the NOC 24x7 team,
• Proactive management of assigned customer networks, production of monthly Observations, and ensuring the assigned networks are working optimally.
• Proactive management of Customer networks.
• Monitoring Mobily International Gateways (IGW) network and escalate to concern team.
• Provisioning new customers with their services (L2VPN, L3VPN, DIA and L2 Circuit).
• Responsible for configuration change management on network devices.
• Raising Customer trouble tickets with Service Providers and 3rd Parties for escalated faults.
• Provided technical and analytical support in determining the root cause of network problems.
• Carrying out all regular O&M routines and preventive maintenance activities so as to minimize system downtime, such as: system backups, routine hardware tests, monitoring the availability of network resources and capacities.
• Troubleshooting the issues with service provider related to slowness of browsing, link down and routing issues.
• Provide technical and analytical support in determining the root cause of network problems.
• Responsible for designing and implementation of network infrastructure.
• Configure and implement the new changes on network devices switches, routers and firewalls.
