a) Federal Immunization Program costing of Rs.37, 644.682 Million funded by GOP;

b) National Immunization Support Project costing USD 137.70 Million administered by the World Bank under IDA Credit 5786-Pak; and MDTF No. TF A 2189-PAK & TF B 3039-PAK;
Also worked as a financial wizard from the Government side in designing and implementing financial management systems for the following foreign-aided projects:


c) IVAC COVID-19 Vaccine Support for Pakistan costing USD 72.50 Million funded by Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) under Loan No. PAK- 1054;

d) COVID-19 Vaccine Support Project under Asia Pacific Vaccine Access Facility costing USD 500.0 Million funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB) under Loan No.4096-PAK;
e) Pandemic Response Effectiveness in Pakistan (PREP) costing of USD 158 Million funded by the World Bank under IDA Credit 6590- PAK.


Budgeting and Planning
• Support the project team in preparing annual Work Plan of the project. Prepare project’s annual Cash Plan on the basis of Work Plan for the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Islamic Development Bank.
• Prepare and process withdrawal application in accordance with the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines
• Track funds and follow up with National Bank of Pakistan
Expenditure/Payment Processing
• Ensure compliance with internal control framework
• Analyze, plan, design, implement, and monitor a system to augment internal controls
• Apply pre-audit checks on all payments
Accounting and Record Management
• Record all transactions timely and accurately in the books of accounts (both in Pak Rupees and US$) and ensure that no expenditure remained unaccounted.
• Maintain PIFRA SAP R/3 (National FMIS) software being implemented at the project.
• Oversee the process of entering transaction level data in National FMIS and generating vouchers from the system
• Ensure up-to-date maintenance of adequate registers, books of accounts and records.
• Maintain Imprest/ petty cash and ensure maintenance of separate petty cash book and petty cash vouchers and compliance with petty cash SOPs approved by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Islamic Development Bank.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements of assignment account both in Pak Rupee and US$.
• Reconcile the expenditure on government prescribed format with the office of Accountant General on a monthly basis.
• Ensure that the fixed assets records are maintained.
• Ensure safe custody of all financial records for review by Bank Missions, third-party monitoring agents; and external & internal auditors.

Financial Reporting
• Prepare quarterly financial summaries and submitted to all concerned
• Prepare periodic financial reports specified under the Legal Agreement or recommended by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Islamic Development Bank.
• Ensure that all government financial reporting requirements are complied with, specifically:
Audit
• Make arrangements for timely initiation and completion audit of projects.

• Cooperating with World Bank, Government and other partners
• Attend entry and exit meetings with external auditors,
• Prepare working papers on audit observations

• Prepare monthly reconciliation statements for all bank accounts on a timely basis, including preparation of withdrawal applications, to ensure steady flow of funds needed;
• Manage financial aspects of the contracts under administration, including payment terms, purchase orders, variation orders Prepare/process Withdrawal Applications for the Project’s Special Account;
• To apply pre-audit checks on all payments to the service providers before disbursement, out of the project’s funds Oversee the process of entering vouchers on the Financial MIS;
• Preparation & consolidation of periodic/interim/mandatory financial progress reports as and when required and submission to the ADB & BISP Management for review and approval;
• To provide all documents/reply to the Audit Authorities as and when required regarding• the project’s transactions;
• Get well acquainted with the BISP Accounting Manuals, SOPs and instructions on• Financial Management;
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor/ Director and Director General (F & A).
