• Assisted the safety in the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs forrigs and plants.
• Conducting daily, weekly, monthly and pre-task meetings.
• Arranging job safety analysis and work permits as per task to be carried out.
• Identifying training and development needs, through job analysis, risk assessments, legislation and consultation with Rig Managers.
• Ensuring that the statutory, company and client specific training requirements are met.
• Ensuring hazards and risks associated with new equipment or practice are assessed and that effective control measures are implemented to minimize any potential harmful situation.
• Participating and facilitating hazard identification studies and risk assessments as part of work and pre-job assessments.
• Arranging Safety inspections, e.g. lifting gear, vehicles, diesel and water tanks, and hygiene and welfare facilities.
• Conducted regular safety inspections to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
• Assisted in incident investigations, documented findings, and recommended corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Participated in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety among employees.
• Developed and delivered safety training programs to enhance awareness and compliance with safety protocols.

• Maintaining internal and external reporting according to established systems
• Maintaining and updating Rig evacuation plans, procedures and measures.
• Provide information to Management on accidents/incidents in a timely manner according to established operator procedures.
• Monitor compliance against the monthly HSE schedule.
• Coordinate with the Rig Manager concerning the implementation of the Rig Management.
• System on-site and the ongoing instructions to all personnel in its use.
• Monitor/chair/participate in regularly scheduled HSE meetings held at rigs and camps.
• Oversee implementation of operational systems and procedures to include but not be limited to permit to Work System, Lock-Out/Tag-Out System, and Hazardous Chemical - MSDS, PPE System, H2S Awareness, Benchmarking, and other required training activities.
• Execution/Reviewing/Monitoring of required QHSE inspection for rigs and camps, reporting findings to the Rig Manager
• Maintenance of the Lifting & Slings Registers and Inspection Program for rigs in area
• Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
