• KAZYON is the largest chain of supermarkets in Egypt, with branches also in Morocco and Saudi Arabia, as they offer a wide range of service designed to meet all customers needs
• During my work at KAZYON I was part of a team responsible for digitalization of our workflow, by developing and integrating new software application we've reduce our manual task and minimizing time
• Digital Transformation Projects:
1. Voucher Generating system
o Designed and developed a dynamic Voucher Generating System using Spring MVC and Thymeleaf. This application efficiently generates unique coupons while automating the tracking process for previously generated vouchers that were previously managed manually.
2. Dashboard System for Kazyon (Spring 6, Spring Boot 3.2, LDAP)
o Implemented a comprehensive Dashboard System to monitor and track the entire Kazyon system, including the opening and closing times of all Kazyon stores. The system ensures effective supervision of managers' activities to ensure adherence to their responsibilities. This middleware application serves as a hub for aggregating data from various sources, incorporating server-to server and server-to-client interactions.
3. Inventory App
o Developed a backend application for efficient store inventory management, combining essential features to streamline the process. This application includes user authentication, category retrieval, barcode tracking, and an email notification system for managerial updates.
As a backend developer at KIWE, I played a crucial role in implementing and managing various features and integrations:
Designed, built, and maintained the database and API for the products feature. This allowed users to easily add and sell products through the KIWE application.
Developed a ticketing feature based on QR codes, enabling users to purchase tickets and check-in for events organized by KIWE's partners.
Created a cashback feature that allowed users to earn money by adding funds through valU.
Wrote unit tests using JUnit to ensure the quality of the code and addressed security issues.
Built a system to track transactions for the accounting team, enabling them to verify and bill KIWE's business partners.
Integrated KIWE with various partners, including VictorLink for SMS services, PayTabs for payment processing, MNGM gold for e-commerce, and FAWRY for bill payments.
In summary, my role involved database and API development, ticketing and cashback features, unit testing, transaction tracking, and integration with partner services.
