Roads and Infrastructure in Mebaireek Zone 81 - DW020- Packages 1&2 Client: Public Work Authority (PWA) Project Budget: 630 million Q.R.
• Roads and Infrastructure Project in Mebaireek Area Zone 81 Packages 1&2 covers a network of urban roadways extending 55 km approximately for Arterial,
• Collector, and Local Roads, including renovation for all existing dry Utilities
• Upgrading for MV/LV networks including installation of new Street lighting system,
• Ooredoo network diversion, installation of UGN network with some extensions, installation for new traffic signal system.
• Diverting/upgrading of existing Potable Water networks including new copper house connections.
• Establishing of new Micro-Tunneling network with Vortex Shafts,
• A new foul sewer network, new 28 Km service water drainage system.
• Complete new entire Asphalt roads for all urban roads complete with new 7236 car parking bays and 9 km-long shared pedestrian and cycle lanes.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure full implementation, monitoring and checking of all Drainage and road works as per approved drawings and method statement.
• Site Inspection, setting out and Test plan interfaced to the ASHGHAL requirements.
• Prepares inspection checklist & monitor daily activities including Excavation, de-watering, Formation level, Pipe laying and Surrounding, Back filling, Manhole construction and Asphalt works (phase-1 & phase-2), site diary and test performed.
• Coordinate with the area engineer for the effective implementation of the quality management systems and site supervision activities.
• Observed site safety procedures and report discrepancies, concerns, and violations to area engineer.
• Check the delivered materials on site as per approved materials submittal, project specification, local and international standards.
