Electrical supervisor at MARAFIQ

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Oversee construction, commissioning and pre-startup phases for Electrical systems.
•Perform overall supervision of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on all system as per scheduled networks, acceptance criteria and startup specific procedures, documentations to ensure completion on time and to meet guidelines of IEEE standards, national electrical safety codes and Saudi Arabia grid code.
•Review of pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance test and initial acceptance related electrical systems documents.
•Involve in SAT and FAT activities for electrical systems.
•Prepare and Review results of plant performance test for electrical systems.
•Participate within daily PDR meeting, as well as weekly planning and scheduling meeting, to plan maintenance activities in a proactive manner.
•Supervise and follow-up implementation of preventive maintenance works on all Electrical equipment i.e. (Turbine Generator, LV, MV & DC Motors with LCP, LV & MV Switch gears, breakers, capacitor banks, cables, Batteries, DC Chargers, UPS, LV transformer, Exciter, ESP transformer with local panels, EDG, heat tracing system, GCB, IPB, NSBD in the STG units, Fuel facilities & BOP ) in the plant as per manufacturer's /RCM recommendations to ensure unit availability and maintainability.
•Prioritize, supervise and follow-up implementation of corrective maintenance works for the power units in the plant as per manufacturers recommendations to ensure unit availability and maintainability.
•Manage the implementation of major maintenance plan, coordinating with contractors and maintenance planning section, within predefined scope of work to ensure reliability of plant operation and effective maintenance.

•Establishes and implements guidelines for technical evaluations on material offers from vendors to ensure they meet original/required specifications. Ensure material availability for all types of outages to ensure reliability of plant operation.
•Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of maintenance activity is carried out in an efficient manner, and consistent with operating & maintenance procedures and policy.
•Ensure the departmental and safety KPI compliance.
•Prepare incidents and maintenance reports relating to major outages, abnormalities, major equipment history, safety and maintenance history to monitor all parameters, ensure deviations are rectified and maintenance proceeds as per plan and complies with Marafiq standards.
•Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
•Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of Maintenance activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
•Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of Maintenance activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality service and a responsible environmental attitude.
•Ensure the availability of all special tools, Consumables and PPE’s required to perform the job. Ensure Tools audit and maintain records.
•Coach and provide guidance to foremen working under his supervision to ensure increasing their capabilities and maximize their output
•Ensure material, equipment and spare parts availability for all types of overhauls and maintenance works to ensure reliability of operation.
•Create preventive maintenance tasks in reference to manufacturing recommendation or reliability procedure.
•Supervise execution for approved minor CAPEX.
