1. الكشف الأولي على المريض/ة وأخذ التاريخ المرضي، وتسجيل العلامات الحيوية لكل مريض.
٢.متابعة تنفيذ العلاج الموصوف ونتائج الفحوصات المطلوبة للمريض.
٣.حضور الجولات السريرية اليومية للفريق الطبي وتنفيذ التعليمات كما اتفق عليه تحت اشراف مباشر من الفريق الطبي.
٤.المشاركة في تقديم ومناقشة الحالات المرضية في الاجتماع اليومي وأثناء المرور السريري وتوثيقها في Logbook.
٥.تقديم المعالجة الأولية لحالات الطوارئ والحالات الحرجة مع الفريق الطبي وتحت اشرافهم.
٦. التعرف على الوصف الوظيفي لبقية أعضاء الفريق الطبي والتفاعل الإيجابي معهم.
٧. إتباع معايير السلامة المهنية وبالأخص ومعايير مكافحة العدوى.
