To undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature and manage the patients’ specimens for whom he / she is responsible to the highest attainable standard of care within the resources of Sajaya Company.
2. Organization Relationships
· Reporting to: Laboratory Manager
· Responsible for: Performs analyses, tests and procedures while ensuring accuracy of the patient test results per established Laboratory Standards.
· Liaises With: Patients, and internally with all services concerned and Head of Department
3. Position Accountability /Job Duties:
· Perform analytical tests on patient specimens.
· Record and maintain specimen and test results log book.
· Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
· Preparing reagents as required.
· Ensure that stock management and inventory is updated, and supplies and reagents are within the expiration dates and stored on their specific temperature storage.
· Perform proficiency testing and competency assessment.
· Implement appropriate policies and procedures to achieve the company’s goals and objectives in pursuit of Standards of Care, Quality/ Performance Improvement.
As per direction of Laboratory Manager, he / she may perform following duties in Histopathology:
Processes, embeds, cuts and stains hematoxylin and eosin slides from block of fixed tissue.
Prepares and stains frozen sections/cytology specimens.
Perform usual range of special stains and immunocytochemistry on selected cases.
Maintain stocks or reagents and other consumables.
Responsible for chemical inventory and maintain Personal Protective Equipment and coordinates with Laboratory Safety Officer.
Position Qualification & Licensure:
· Bachelor or Diploma degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or any related field.
· Possess valid SCFHS accreditation and registration.
· Possess BLS valid BLS certificate
· Experience: Possess completion of Internship Certificate / No experience is required.

يحدث نظام ضبط الجودة في المختبرات الطبية الأنظمة الإدارية في الجودة، والعمليات التنفيذية والفنية داخل المختبرات؛ وذلك للوصول إلى النتائج المرجوة من الكفاءة ودقة النتائج المعملية، وللكيمياء التحليلية الدور البارز في في أهمية دور المختبرات الطبية ومدى جودتها، فهي تركز على مكوّنات التحليل الكيميائي، والجودة الفنية والإدارية للمعامل الكيميائية القائمة عليها المختبرات الطبية. ضبط الجودة الداخلي: يُعنى بالمتابعة اليومية الدقيقة لصحة نتائج التحاليل عن طريق قياس عينات عشوائية، ومقارنتها بالقيم للتأكد من دقة عمل أجهزة المختبر الطبي وقدرته على إصدار النتائج نفسها يومياً. يشمل المتابعة الطويلة في أداء المختبر مقارنة بالمختبرات الدولية الأخرى، عن طريق مشاركتها ببرامج خاصة يتم من خلالها إرسال عينات ذات قيم لا يعلمها المعمل مسبقاً، وعند الانتهاء من التحليل تتم مقارنتها بنتائج المعامل الدولية خارج البلاد للتأكد من مدى صحتها ودقتها. يجب على المختبرات الطبية الحصول على نتائج دقيقة وصحيحة، واتباع الشروط التي تضعها العديد من المنظمات العالمية للقيام بالتحاليل الطبية، وإدارة المختبرات.
