Job Brief: Majorly involved in the supervision of various entities of the group which include Construction, Prefab Houses, Real Estate and Property Development companies, Joinery, Aluminum, Metal and Quarry Industries. Leading a team of 20 Accountants to manage accounting operations for all these entities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate budgets and conduct variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results while implementing corrective actions.
• Liaise and negotiate with banks for raising fund and advise the organization for Capacity Expansions / Acquisitions.
• Oversee treasury functions including optimum utilization of surplus funds and control the same.
• Instrumental in validating business plans & commercial strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation in line with corporate goals.
• Determine financial objectives and prepare & implement systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control in the areas of pricing, credit and collection.
• Strategize adequate measures while monitoring the inward & outward flow of funds, ensuring optimum utilization of available funds towards the accomplishment of corporate goals.
• Coordinate with the Bankers to arrange Project Finance both funded and non-funded facilities.


Key Accomplishments:
• Handled major key customers like RTA Dubai, Nakheel Dubai, DMCC Dubai, Government of Ajman department of private properties, Government of Sharjah, Ministry of Public works & Housing-Dubai, ADNOC Distribution Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Housing programme Dubai, Obayashi Corporation (JT Metro JV) and Al Ain Municipality etc.
• Successfully raised the funds worth USD 250 Million from various banks which include funded as well as non-funded facilities.
• Effectively drafted the reports and presented the same to the Ministry of Finance on yearly basis for upgrading the classification in the economics department.
• Enhanced the capital from the receipt of advance payment from fast track projects like Dubai metro etc.
• Initiated & implemented numerous cost control measures for implanting inventory control & cost control.
• Closely monitored the project budgeted & estimated cost with the actual cost & BOQ.

¨ Successfully converted manual accounting system into computerized accounting system by using FoxPro package.
¨ Successfully established internal control system with regards to sales, purchases, cash, receivables etc.
