• Manage project assignments pertaining to Storage Consolidation at Ithmaar Bank, implementation of HP StoreOnce De-duplication at Ahli United Bank and DB consolidation project at Bahrain National Holding encompassing Virtual Connect configurations for newly installed BL860c i2 server, Brocade SAN switch zoning, Storage Provisioning from HP EVA, VG/LVOL creation etc.
• Implement & support
o HP-UX, Integrity Servers & Storage Arrays, implementing new projects and maintaining project documentation.
o DR setup for Oracle Applications, solution based on C3000 enclosure, BL860c i2 Blades and HP StorageWorks P2000 Array at Bahrain National Holding, C-Class Blade System at Asry, Bahrain including C-Class Blade System, SAN switch zoning, Storage presentation at National Bank of Bahrain.
o VNX 5300 at MOL, P2000 G3, Brocade SAN switches at Mena Telecom and HP EVA 6300 at Hidd Power Company.
• Focus on pre-installation checks and installation/ maintenance of product at customer sites.
• Ensure compliance to schedules for certification of new EMC VNX Storage within limited time.
• Render support to major customers in the financial sector like National Bank of Bahrain, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Khaleeji Commercial Bank, Mena Telecom and others.
• Resolve service calls assigned by team leader and coordinate with HP-Support with regards to critical escalated issues.
• Configure HP BladeSystem, Virtual Connect, HP Left Hand P4000 iSCSI storage at Supreme Council of Women; re-configure HP Serviceguard Cluster during upgrade from 10g R1 to 10g R2 at Ministry of Health.
• Zone Cisco MDS SAN switch at QAA; install 2 Integrity rx2800 i2 servers in Sybase project at Khaleeji Commercial Bank
• Involved in expansion of EMC CX4-120 SAN storage at Economic Development Board and storage configuration of HP Storage Works P2000 Array in RHEL5 environment at Batelco.
Manging enterprise Storage, Backup Infrastructure
• 24x7 support of HP-UX, HP BladeSystem, HP Integrity Servers and HP Proliant servers to key customers mostly in Telco’s.
• Planning and implementation of Integrity blades / rack mount servers, deploying OS, kernel configuration, patch management, network configurations, and device/storage management at Telenor Pakistan.
• Planning/Implementation of Virtualization of BSS Servers Using VMware vSphere and 16 B460c G5 servers as ESX hosts at Telenor Pakistan.
• Deployment of Proliant Servers and MSA2000, HP Procurve 2824 Network Switches, HP KVM Solution in Project Gemalto/Mobile Money at Telenor Pakistan.
• Planning /deployment of HP BladeSystem c-class in Mobilink GSM and Telenor Pakistan.
• Installation HP-UX 11i v3 on HP integrity rx6600, rx2600 servers and configuring them to be part of Oracle RAC cluster at Telenor PK.
• Addition of newly installed node in existing HP Serviceguard Cluster running HP TemIP at PTCL NOC.
• Implementation of HP Insight Control Data Center for HP BladeSystem / HP SIM
• Deployment of VLS9000 at wi-tribe Pakistan.
