Executive Director, Project Management Office (PMO) - March 2018-present
Duties: Responsible for providing leadership, direction and an engineering expertise within the scope of PMO on all issues related to initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, commissioning and handover of all major MNGHA construction projects and other services related to the area of assignment. Develop and oversee strategic plans and best practices in promoting PMO services and its functions in contribution to the overall benefit for MNGHA. Provide highly responsible and complex strategic support and advise to Chief Operating Officer.
As ED-PMO, I am responsible to oversee the operations and performance of Project Management Office, and other services related PMO’s functions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory/government agencies/directives and MNGHA policies and procedures. Review all request for project budgets to ensure that the requirements match the requested budget allocation. Direct the preparation and updating of master plans and infrastructure requirements for all new and future projects in line with MNGHA’s strategic goals and objectives.
Major construction projects under supervision:
Women’s Hospital- Riyadh, Mental Health Hospital- Riyadh, Neurosciences Center - Riyadh, King Abdullah Specialized Children’s Hospital-Jeddah, Neuroscience and Trauma Care Center-Jeddah, King Salman Specialized Hospital - Taif and King Abdullah Specialized Hospital - Qassim.
The Deputy Executive Director for Facilities Management (DED-FM), is responsible for overall Facilities Management (FM ) operational functions and providing highly responsible support to the NGHA CEO/COO and ED-operations.
As DED_FM I am responsible for both O&M (No. staff 850) and Projects Management (No. Staff 220)departments daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives established by the NGHA Operation/Medical high management.
In addition to Develops, plans, implements, and administers division goals and budgets and improves staff performance to accomplishment of departmental responsibilities, DED_FM is responsible for oversees all KAMC projects, both capital and in-house construction and turnover acceptance.
The Associate Executive Director of Project Management Office (AED, PMO) is responsible for the overall project management functions, providing leadership, coordination and management of PMO processes and functions.
Managing construction works for health care projects (hospitals, housing, colleges, administration buildings) and electrical networks and primary SS and high voltage network construction works
Implemented electrical design for virology lab.
Implemented electrical design for umm alhmam dental clinic extension.
Implemented electrical design for emergency & lab. Expansion for dammam hospital.
Implemented electrical design for additional new operation room at Jeddah hospital.
Supervision of project for replacement of old T/F 11 KV (50HZ) to new T/F 13.8KV(60.HZ).
Supervision for constriction of new primary power substation 132/13.8KV to feed NGHA power network from Saudi Electricity Company network.
Supervision and verification of contract works and contractor’s invoices and claims, admitting claims according to terms and conditions of the contract greement/documents.
Monitoring progress of site activates either civil or electrical and verification of materials delivered at site.
Also, Review drawings submittal by contractor for equipment’s location (GIS, T/F, Telecom, R&C, switchgear, …etc.), substation general layout and cable roots inside and out said the substation. Test & inspect equipment at factory out/in side KSA, witness equipment testing & commissioning at site (GIS, T/F, Telecom, SCAD, R&C, 13.8kv switchgear, fir fitting…etc) .
Verification of scheduling for all projects activities for both civil and electrical such as (site mobilizing, building constriction, base design, manufacturing, delivering, erecting, testing and energizing) by using Microsoft projects or primavera programmers.
Coordinate and arrange weekly meeting at office/site for successful implementation of project activities according to scope of work and project Time schedule.
Coordinate at office / site with all SEC -COA concerned technical divisions such as protection & testing and Electrical Control Center (ECC) during commissioning or for emergency accidents.
Implemented substation # 8022 in alsahafa area . Implemented substation # 8821 at KSU- Alqassim.
Implemented substation # 8089 in Mursalat-Riyadh..
Implemented substation # 8068 in Huraymila- Riyadh area.
