Project Manager and Acting Senior Project Manager

• Consultation and recommendations to approve Canadian and foreign manufactured aircraft for export and use by Canadians. Effective communication strategies have engendered trust among foreign authorities to expedite export of Canadian aircraft, which facilitates $2 to $3 billion in annual sales.
• Establish and maintain active and collaborative relationships with FAA, EASA, Indian, Israeli, U.A.E and other foreign regulatory authorities, senior management of Canadian and international aircraft manufacturers, and Canadian operators.
• Prime interface between TCCA and international aircraft designers and manufacturers including the senior management of these organizations. Provide leadership and guidance to a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, pilots and inspectors to achieve certification of aircraft within timelines and customer consultation (domestic and international). Lead teams of technical investigators conducting multi-year evaluations of new equipment.
• Evaluate and analyze technical details of proposals, including financial information for decision-making on policies. Forecast personal and applicants’ program expenditures (e.g. fees, travel, training, overtime).
• Develop and review budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies, Calculating fees and negotiating charges with major users to complete aircraft certification, under strict time and financial resource constraints with a budget of up to $500, 000 per project.
