Project Manager and Acting Senior Project Manager

• Consultation and recommendations to approve Canadian and foreign manufactured aircraft for export and use by Canadians. Effective communication strategies have engendered trust among foreign authorities to expedite export of Canadian aircraft, which facilitates $2 to $3 billion in annual sales.
• Establish and maintain active and collaborative relationships with FAA, EASA, Indian, Israeli, U.A.E and other foreign regulatory authorities, senior management of Canadian and international aircraft manufacturers, and Canadian operators.
• Prime interface between TCCA and international aircraft designers and manufacturers including the senior management of these organizations. Provide leadership and guidance to a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, pilots and inspectors to achieve certification of aircraft within timelines and customer consultation (domestic and international). Lead teams of technical investigators conducting multi-year evaluations of new equipment.
• Evaluate and analyze technical details of proposals, including financial information for decision-making on policies. Forecast personal and applicants’ program expenditures (e.g. fees, travel, training, overtime).
• Develop and review budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies, Calculating fees and negotiating charges with major users to complete aircraft certification, under strict time and financial resource constraints with a budget of up to $500, 000 per project.

Project Engineer

• Led the design, development, substantiation and certification of JT15D/PW500 turbofan engines (for executive jets and military trainers) and PT6 turboshaft engines (for helicopters) with multi-disciplinary teams including federal government coordination, while adhering to dynamic schedules and $1 million annual budget and in respect to best practices.
• Established and managed budgets, schedules, and led integrated product teams (IPT), including involvement in the strategic direction process (using ROI and life cycle costs) and international liaison.
• Liaised with and negotiated contracts with suppliers and customers.
• Enabled achievement of company commitments within allocated time and budget,
• Supported our customers (both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and operators), and the company functions of Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing, Production and Customer Support.
Marketing Account Manager; Senior Customer Support Engineer

• Leadership and team management for business development of P&WC engines in helicopter applications to ensure that P&WC engines were selected as the powerplant of choice; these engines were: PW200, PT6T (TwinPac), PT6B and PT6C. Established the required support infrastructure.
• Led active and collaborative relationships with PW100, PT6 and PW200 aircraft operators, maintenance facilities, OEMs, suppliers, and international authorities to satisfy organizational strategy.
