Apply my technical knowledge to solve a variety of technological challenges. Create new technologies, including the development of networking solutions and software programs. Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware / software and related infrastructure, Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. Ensure system hardware, operating systems, and software systems. Install and remove software from computer systems and networks, diagnose and repair technical issues. Plan, design, implement and administer user networks for companies.
Provide hardware and software support for desktop computer and peripherals for clients. Perform troubleshooting and analysis.
Create a daily work schedule for technicians.
Install and configure computer systems and digital video recording systems.
Communicate with clients through a series of actions, either on the phone or personally.
Troubleshoot system (VSAT service, CCTV) problems, diagnose, and solve hardware/software faults.
Find solutions to problems, creating desktop shortcuts or fixing major faults on the operating system.
Install and program internet satellite systems with network equipment (web site caching management, bandwidth management, client’s router or modem, SDSL switcher)
Install and program DVR systems.
Install and program ADSL routers.
Install and test network devices such as network solutions (Metro Ethernet, Ethernet switch, xDSL, Router, point to point antenna, access point, TSP solution)
Computer software and hardware installation, upgrade, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Provide one on one end user problem resolutions over the phone.
Assist System Administrator with the System development in relation to Server Management and other processes that ensure the minimum risk to services or systems due to errors.
Troubleshoot network server and printer problem.
Perform senior level work in an area of computer expertise (e.g. applications programming, operating system, network, data/communications and information system analysis).
Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations, which outline strengths and weaknesses of viable options, including cost-benefit analysis, effect on current operation, potential implementation and installation and plan.
Determine cost of various options and prepare cost-benefits analysis, as well as equipment costs and other purchases.
Conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting; and perform related work as required.
Provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all computer users by performing question/problem diagnosis.
Provide troubleshoot hardware and software user support in windows environment.
