Responsibilities:

• Monitor and Study Parameters and Performance of Critical and Major Rotating Equipment “Steam Turbines, Gas Compressors, Gas Expanders, and Critical Pumps and Blowers”.
• Support Plant Operations and Maintenance Crew on their Tasks Related Rotating Equipment.
• Apply Condition Monitoring Different Techniques “Vibration Analysis, Thermograph, and Oil Analysis” to Survey Equipment Performance, or Troubleshoot any Failures.
• Create and Maintain Databases for Machinery Vibration Analysis Program.
• Apply Machinery Vibration Analysis and Supply Nominated Department with Suggested Proactive or Predictive Activities.
• Optimize PMs and Maintenance Plan using CMMS, to Achieve Best Practice Maintenance, to Keep the Plant in High Availability and Reliability.
• Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis and Recommend Corrective Actions to avoid any Catastrophic or Repeated Failures.
• Plan, Execute and Witness Major Rotating Equipment Inspections and Overhauls based on Planned or Unplanned Maintenance Activities.
• Develop and Support Procedures for Rotating Equipment Repair and Overhaul Guidelines.
• Participate in Capital Project Review, and ensure that all New and Existing Rotating Equipment Installations and Maintenance Activities Completed in Accordance with Applicable Standards.
• Assist in the provision and management of the Two Years Spares and Capital Spares for Critical Rotating Equipment.
• Assist in Managing Resources (Manpower, Tools and Equipment) to Keep the Plant in High Availability.
• Lead and Train Young Engineers to Lead Maintenance Crew During Their Jobs.

• Gathered All Required Data and Created Vibration Data Bases for Two Different Vibration Monitoring Asset Route Managers “SKF Microlog” and “Bruel & Kjaer 3.5”.
• March & April 2020:
Accountable for Major and Minor Overhauls of Critical Nine Rotating Equipment during Plant Turnaround, as the Following:
 Major Overhauls for GE Roto-Flow Integrally Gear HP and LP High Speed Turbo-Expander and Its’ Generator.
 Minor Overhaul for two Ingersoll Rand Air Process Integrally Gear 4 Stages High Speed Compressors and Their Inter-Stage Coolers.
 Major Overhauls for Six Main Critical Centrifugal “Over-Hang and Between Bearings” Air Blowers.

• March 2015: Attended a Complete Overhaul for Centrifugal Compressor “Horizontal Type” Due to a Catastrophic Failure during Commissioning Phase, Under Vendor Supervision.
• April 2015: Attended a Complete Overhaul for Man-Turbo Turbo-Expander due to Damage in Inlet Guide Vane Rod, Under Vendor Supervision.
• October 2015: Attended a Major Overhaul of Man-Turbo Nitric Acid Turbo Set on Abu Qir Fertilizer Company at Alexandria, Egypt. as the Following:
 Major Overhaul for Air Axial Compressor.
