Supervising & coordinating the site team's execution of all the marine works with the marine supervising Engineer. Supervising the Contractor's works of 460 l.m of quay expansion, mainly steel piling and sheet piling works, vibro-compaction and reclamation works, precast and insitu concrete.
Supervising the Contractor's works of replacing of all old fenders with new cone fenders and, installing Denso Seashield FD2000 system to a 113 steel piles.
o Assisting in ensuring the quality program is providing a systematic approach for evaluation, inspection, testing, calibration and all other related requirements to monitor and ensure quality of all factory products.
o Following up of weld testing (UT, RT, and LPT) and sandblasting and coating of steel structures.
o Implementing quality standards on all factory products at all stages of process.
o Worked under ISO9001:2008 requirements and assist in delivering the required quality accredited certificates for the company.
o Following up of piling and sheet piling works, concrete works, and earth works.
o Controlling the quality of work procedures and application of relevant Standards in relation to the project.
o Qualification and application of welding procedures for various steel grades and welding processes.
o Site investigation and laboratory test analysis.
o Maintain the Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2008.
o Lead a team of three QA/QC engineers after two months of employment.
o Kept a very high rate of approved work inspection requests from the Engineer.
